READ ME 5.2 1/26/07 Just to let you all know, I do not have folders within folders in order to keep navagation simple. I have a variety of art so please do not assume that all you'll find here are drawings. There are sculptures, 3D computer art, origami (paper folded into animals), and other hand-made art.
READ ME 5.1 1/15/07 Hey, I'm back for a bit! Well... for as long as the spirit moves me.
To those of you new to my place in the circle of Lion King art, I try to keep navigation simple. There are only the folders you see before you. There are no subfolders to get lost in. Also, I'm sure you've noticed that I do not have a ton of images clogging this "artist comments" section. Anything with the asterisk (*) means that the image was drawn and colored using only the mouse of the computer. I didn't have a scanner or access to a scanner at the time and that's the reason why I went through all that trouble. It was quite fun, actually.

I'm a self taught artist. I guess that can be argued because art runs through my family. I started doodling around the 3rd grade and have been doodling on everything ever since! Notebooks, chalkboards, desks, homework, myself, other people... After I stupidly threw out doodles I did of Snaps years ago, I got angry at myself and promised myself never to throw out any doodles I do, no matter how bad they are. I now have a giant box of doodles!
My very first character from many years ago was Stasher. That's why I have him as my archive name. He is second in command of my clan, instead of Strick, because he was my very first official permanent character.
I hope to write, illustrate, and publish a story about all of my childhood characters.

7/26/2016 It's time I cleaned up my archive and try to keep it more on point. Not only that, there are a number of pieces of art I want to put a watermark on before reposting them. I want to work on my book more, as well. I would like to upload something TLK related again.
05/04/2005 I have found out what's wrong with me. I have attention deficit disorder. It was passed down to me from my dad. I've decided not to go on medication, although it would be nice to know what it's like to be normal for one month.
6/8/2003 I heard them! The trees! They were talking, SINGING! You could see the sound waves of their music. There were thousands of water droplets dancing along the waves. It was a vertical wall of sound and water. Their voices sounded like... like... like when you rub your wet finger around the rim of a wine glass. Like that beginning tone in Lala from Rhythm Of The Pridelands. Their song was slow and graceful. They were singing Lala/Endless Night. I approached the sound waves one was making and touched it. Small water droplets splashed my hand. I was moved to tears. (no, I am not on drugs. I just happen to have very vivid dreams)
3/11/2003 It's interesting to see what pictures are in the favorites folder. It's hard to believe that some of them are favorites of someone else.
02/05/2003 I have met the famous Beemer in person! She and I are going to different art schools here in Chicago and we had lunch together and looked at each others' art. (first person I have ever met in person after first meeting them online. See, not everyone is a kidnapper)
