Sketcher Rules
From TLKFAAwiki
These are a draft for rules that should apply to the TLKFAA sketcher.
These rules apply to everyone.
Do not delete layers: Pressing the 'remove' button in the layers list will instantly delete any marked layer without prompting.
Do not erase other artists drawings: If someone forgot to erase their picture and then leaving, the picture may be erased, but to be entirely sure, always ASK before erasing anything.
Do not draw on other artists drawings:
Do not draw too close to other artists drawings: leave some space for others, in case they need to expand their drawing a little.
Do not box-off or otherwise reserve space:
Erase your picture when you are done: to free up space when you are leaving.
Keep your drawings on-topic: Dragons, wolves, horses, humans etc are off-topic. Ethiopian wolves do not look like american, european or asian wolves. [1] for a list of acceptable species.
Do not draw mature things: This shouldn't need any clarification.
The sketcher is for drawing, not chatting: Going to the sketcher only to chat will possibly deny another artist of its use. If you want to chat, get an Instant Messenger.
Do not idle or go "BRB" for more than 15 minutes Idling during the busy hours will deny someone else use of the sketcher. If you're going to be gone for more than 15 minutes, it'd be better to log off and return later. Admins have the right to kick out idling users if there's a need to free up spots.
Do not be a troll:
Do not bother the other artists: If someone tells you to stop bothering them, you shall stop bothering them. This means both in chat and on the canvas. If you feel that someone is bothering or mocking you in any way, ignore them.
Speak proper English: If english is your native language, you have no excuses. Do not use chatspeak.
Abide the rules:
Do not flood the chat: Don't type a lot of nonsense that makes it difficult for others to use the chat window. If you want to be silly with your friends, do so in an IM chat, not the sketcher chat.
Do not use the board for Roleplaying: The chat feature is to allow artists to talk to each other, organise places to draw/collaborations and to make the overall running of 12 people drawing on one board easier. Roleplaying slows this down, excludes other people and qualifies as spam. If you want to roleplay, organise it to be in email.
These rules apply to admins too: If you think an admin is not behaving or is breaching the rules. Contact Brian together with any evidence.
Do not flame others: Let admins handle trolls and newbies who made mistakes.
Do not use strong language or talk about mature topics light language is allowed, but do not overuse it. Strong language will not be taken. Mature topics includes Yaoi, Yuri, porn and whatever it is called. Just because it is in another language, it is still porn no matter how you claim it isn't. Please do not talk about such topics in the sketcher chat.
Be respectful Do NOT insult people's religion, sexuality, or anything along the lines of that.
No discussions/debates of inflamatory topics such as politics or religion. These discussions rarely end well and and often lead to hurt feelings. Please keep these topics off Sketcher.
Anthros must be more ANIMAL than HUMAN. The deciding factor will be in the future that an anthro character must have an animal-like head, rather than a human head with some animal features such as lion ears or nose. Please use your best judgment in deciding whether your drawing fits within the "more animal than human" guidelines.
