Kopa

Kopa is Simba and Nala's cub in a spinoff third-party book series called "The Lion King: Six New Adventures" (often abbreviated "TLK6NA"). He enjoys being told stories and seems to be less mischievious than Simba was at his age. His name means "heart" in Swahili.

First Appearance

Kopa's assumed first appearance was at the very end of The Lion King during the ceremony. Before he was called Kopa, he was jokingly nick-named "Fluffy" by the animators. This, of course, was before Simba's Pride was planned. This leads to some confusion as to whether or not this cub was Kiara or this was another cub that Simba and Nala had before Kiara. Disney has claimed it to be Kiara, thus far, as the TLK6NA is a third party production and therefore is questionable as to whether or not Kopa existed canonically.

Discription

Kopa is the spitting image of cub Simba with the exception of a dark brown hair tuft between his ears.

He is very curious and eager to hear stories, often following up with a miniature adventure of his own. The majority of Kopa's friends although his pride has more lions than ever in the movies.
