ArtTradeWithShenziKhan.jpgIt's very difficult to shade in black, so sorry for some mistakes.. From now one Ill start on my SS! So the trades are second priority. Im sorry for the lame bg, but I wanted to keep it simple so that his striking eyes and the characters popped out. And I also wanted to have some contrasts and similarities like the noses and petals (yes they are petals xD) and the black agains the warm/cold sky and other colors and so on. Too many awesome people here<33 I just slapped on some shadows and uploaded it to have something to upload. And its 3am in the morning, and I can finally conclude that I am tired. My big baby (aka Jannes) is the one of the reasons behind the unactive-ness. He is still taking a lot of time, and I have some commissions I'm drawing on as well. 23:59 Thu 12/6/2007 Fans of This Picture: 13 December 7th: Astrocat<3Astrocat was one of the few reasons why I joined this place and started drawing felines. When I first stumbeled upon this place back in august 05, she was AotM, and when I saw her art I couldn't help but gasp in pure admiration at every picture she made. Her characters have to be one of the most original characters I've ever seen, and her flawless anatomy and detailed and luxurious backgrounds makes me want to make her AotM five times more, because she is such a kind and caring person and inspires so many to continue drawing and never give up. That is what she did when I had a break for six months; inspired me. This is why I think Astrocat should be the SS on my lucky day in every month: the 7th<3 |

She is such a nice and kind person, her style is unique and original, and she can draw everything from detailed pictures with backgrounds to simple sketches that can tell more than a thousand words. If you use this, could you leave me a comment with your image and tell others where you found it? It has nothing to do with you guys, and I will upload here from time to time, but I just dont feel that connected to this community as I did two years ago. I guess we all grew up and got jobs and didnt have that much time we could spend on drawing. I dont know that many people as I did before, and theres too much I miss out on.Even though I started drawing again after a decade of not having the confidence to pick up a pencil five years ago, Im still not happy and I think Im still not a good enough artist. Its a hobby, not a future. But I did met some awesome people! So thats why I choose to only remain active on DA, and try to improve in a pace I like. I'll miss you. Her expressions and the way she colours her chars in a picture tell you so much about what's happended with them, what's going to happen and what they are thinking. This is why I love you guys<33I actually really, really like this. :3 Can you see which tlk-char and person it is? :D The one who guesses right gets a free cookie! With lots of love<33 I came up with this idea to draw most of the tlk chars portraying people that has qualities and certain characteristics that resemble them. Of course I used a reference for this. I'm not THAT good xD And I needed some help from Cats on the muzzle, that's why she looks like a "Cats"-cat. Next up is Kovu, portraying either Jude Law or Johnny Depp. I think they are a little alike? (Sexiest of all the chars/cast, and rebellious, yet softies?) Suggestions for other tlk chars are very welcome! |
