Fans of This Picture: 14 In the early days of her husband's rule, Sarabi fostered a fear that Mufasa would be so consumed with his kingship he wouldn't have time for her. While their new duties -did- consume them, they found time late at nights, under the watchful eyes of the Great Kings, to confide with each other. It was not the trials and tribulations of ruling and keeping balance of such a huge land that troubled him most- it was fears for his own brother- a lion that had already estranged himself from the pride- especially the newly minted royal couple.
"We've lost a pride member, Sarabi; not from a bloody battle or a hunting accident- but because he hated me- his own brother. What have I done, Sarabi? Just...what could I have done differently?”
