Now that the Lion King had a proper heir, Taka had became a threat to his tyrannical rule. So the scarred lion was not surprised that his sibling had just tried to kill him. In fact, he had been expecting it. But for Mufasa to put his own cub, Taka's beloved young nephew, in danger just to lure him into the trap...it was beyond belief!
