14:28 Thu 7/26/2007 Fans of This Picture: 13 My long awaited commission for the MEGA sweet Shema:)On a technical side, it took many hours of work and I was happy I could do a digital sort of painting after a while...As for character, I was experimenting with the style of coloring. I'm trying to make my own style of shading, as the art world is really saturated of all cell/ gradient shading...So I was going for some painterly effect, the similar style that I've done for my "Ice Statue" picture. I will experiment more with it in future...Background was also done in similar way. Enjoy in looking^.^ |

In meanwhile, I got a new monitor and all the colors in this pic looked twisted on it. So I had to change the coloring a bit, but then I ruined the detail that I originally put in... I'm not quite happy with it :/ |
