Well, you have to be a registered artist on TLKFAA - are you? Then when you get to your personal account page, there is a section at the bottom of the page where you click on the links in order to upload artwork from your computer to the TLKFAA site. Hope that helps!

Yeah, people who take advantage of the auto-approval in order to upload tons of off-topic art should be ashamed of themselves. Auto-approval was designed to make Brian's job easier on the archive, and instead it looks like loads of people are just abusing this.

Hello there, if you want to trade then that is fine, but I MUST stress that I will only do a canon trade - I want to promote canon artwork on TLKFAA as much as possible, so any trade we do will be involving only original characters from the TLK and SP movies. I hope you can understand and that you would still like to trade. Thanks again!

| Hello, there. I read your comment on Maq's Canon days topic. Honestly, I don't mind the idea so much but Brian did make this site with the ability for us to make and register and draw our OCs as often as we want. But plenty of people do draw canon. Often. How can you say it's sad we need to make an actual time to draw canon when people DO draw it? Yes, we're all quite aware it's a lion king site. And we all do draw canon. But people need to be motivated to draw certain things. We can't draw on command. Also, you mentioned the offtopic-ness of such things as lionized people or characters... But this isn't so at all. Brian even states it's on topic and even Kari, a recent AoTM, has wolves in her gallery but they're Simba and Nala as wolves. She said she got Brian's okay to do it so long as it was canon. We're not just making excuses to upload things. All I've ever drawn is lions, it's all I can draw. And I enjoy it. I'm not trying to come off as someone trying to start something, I'm just voicing my opinion against what you said. I do lionize band members and such and I don't think it's fair you're calling it offtopic when Brian says it's ontopic. Nor do I think it's fair that you're ignoring that people do in fact draw canon and you make it sound like the site's gone to hell. =\ Sorry if I came off horridly. I quote from Brian's guidelines: "Remember, no non-TLK-related "furry" characters—there are other, more appropriate places where you can post those."
And also: "Not acceptable: "Furry" or role-playing characters that have nothing to do with the Lion King universe. No humans, Pokemon, South Park, anime, dragons, Neopets, or "furry" characters that don't have anything to do with TLK. "Crossovers" are fine, but please be reasonable about it."
So... that includes lionized people and non TLK characters and band members as being off-topic , which you think are on-topic. Sorry, but they're not. I don't remember Doctor Who or Justin Timberlake ever appearing in any of the TLK films.

A CROSSOVER is when you change someone/thing from one species/thing to another. In some people's cases, this means changing Doctor Who etc. characters into lions/other african animals, which therefore makes it on-topic. I'm sorry if this comes across in a nasty way, but I'm not trying to start something. I am simply voicing my opinion, just like you, and I'm saying that I think you have contradicted what you have said. If you're saying that Brian has said that crossovers are fine, then what is the problem with people uploading film/doctor who/band members/characters as lions or other african animals? As far as I'm concerned, if Brian says it's okay, then it's perfectly OKAY. And, to be perfectly honest, I rarely see people uploading off-topic work...quite the contrary. Most people now say "Check out my deviant account!" because they know that their artwork is off-topic and therefore shouldn't be uploaded. I think that the canon day is a bad idea. Many people may end up rebelling against the idea, and, as you've said, you cannot force people to draw canon. Most of us here, including myself, draw because we are inspired to, or because we want to let our feelings out into a picture, or even because we have storylines running. Canon isn't always what everybody wants to draw. However, the massive majority of artists on this site upload only on-topic artwork, which does include crossovers. Many people on this site do upload canon work, but VERY rarely. I do think that people should upload SOME canon art once in a while, but as you said, you cannot force anybody. So for the moment there will be written 'on hold' next to your request, and when I decide to start it that will change to 'sketching' or something similar.

| Hi! I feel glad for the day I discovered your gallery here on TLKFAA, and I've been dropping in your page for a couple of times now, and I must say I enjoy it more and more each time! I've probably watched just about 50% of ur gallery so far (I'm glad, that means there's more great creative art to see!! :D) and I've added you to my favorite artists. I mean, Seriously! You have so much cannon pictures, and they're all in your style, and they're new each time! I've browsed back to pictures from 2005 in your gallery, and I can see that you have been working hard and always improving! I love your style, really, really much, I mean it! some people prefer manga style, some people just upload whatever they make, and your style is colorful and fresh, childish yet mature, and your good at catching the character characteristics in your pictures. You draw a lot of cannon-art, which I believe we need more of here in the TLKFAA, and still you make great original charatcer-art. I like them very much, they're all so natural and new! I see also you like the outlanders ;D They must be the most mysterious and dark characters in the whole TLK..! I like their personality :] I really like how you make scar and mufasa, they are just so... right! expressions, proportions, colors, and so on. Please do more!! I've been thinking, and since I can't find your name oin the AotM-list, I guess you haven't been AotM so far? How come?? I happened upon your gallery today from your contest entry, which was really nice (you drew scar so cutely!). I gotta tell you, going through your gallery is really fun! I love how many on-topic pieces you have, it's always great to see that, so thanks for the contribution to the TLK universe! Also, I just want to let you know that I think your original characters are really awesome! They look as if they could be seen in the next TLK movie (i wish). They appear so natural, and you rely on much more powerful things than color change, like most artists seem to do.
So, I'm giving you a round of applause! Take a bow! I'm definitely adding you to my favorite artists, and I really hope I get to see more of your art sometime soon!
And if you ever get around to maybe checking my gallery out, and like what you see, I'd love to do a trade or something sometime! :3
