| Just wanted to let you know. For the Secret Santa, you might want to edit your post and just post the link to the picture incase the person who gets you has dial up, it is better they just have to wait for one picture to load then your gallery to load. |

| Um...sorry dudette, but I don't think you can draw on Photoshop Elements! ^.^; I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Elements is only another Picassa. EDIT: About the Sketcher thing. First, do you have the tablet's driver software downloaded? That could be a problem. Second, sometimes the pressure on the tablet turns itself off. Try testing if it's working in another program. If it is, this is what you do: Instead of using your mouse to go on Sketcher, use your tablet. When you're on the Java screen, keep tapping hard on the tablet with your tablet pen like crazy. If you're lucky, it should work. btw, in your Artist's Comment, you mentioned you don't have auto-approval. You've drawn more then 50 pics, so just ask Brian if you can have it. |

| Hey Lauralu! I guess I'll just start this off by giving you a big THANK YOU for sticking true to the CANON nature of this archive! Every time I come across a gallery that is predominantly canon I get so happy! But yours is simply wonderful! You're very talented! If you aren't too busy, would you possibly like to do a semi-canon trade with me? A lot of my characters have relations to the canon characters so I think that counts :p If you're too busy don't worry about it, I just came back from a long hiatus and looking to get some creative juices flowing! well, on a Lion King Fanart site, I believe things SHOULD be mostly canon :) I think it's a little strange how there are so many galleries that include very little canon, and quite a surprising number have plenty of off- topic pics >;( Hence, nearly all the artists on my watch list draw canon mostly :)

Okay, so you will need a program like Photoshop (or photoshop element), Corel Painter, Open canvas, Paint Tool Sai or Paint.Net to give you tools/paintbrushes that are not pixelated. From there, it's all about patience, a steady hand and zooming in.
I see you have some pictures done in MSPaint, but many people love pixel art and with practice you can create amazing things in it :)
If you are looking for smooth lines on a free program, you should try downloading http://www.paint.net/ and give it a go.
Also you could try out sketcher on this site too :)

| I really like your work, you have a nice gallery. I like how, even when you draw pridelanders, they still have some complexity to them. Your drawings just look more interesting than the ones in the movie. So, just thought I'd say I like your stuff. By the way, what that one person meant about the texture on your drawings is that, if I'm not mistaken, some of your drawings you lower the quality slightly so they become a little pixelated. Yeah the bad quality drawings are from resizing in MSpaint (ugh!), but thatnks to 'Garder I managed to figure out how to resize them within photoshop (lol, so much to learn!), but they just wanted to know how to draw smooth lines ;3

I'm afraid I don't know, usually the reasons an artist leaves this site are their own, whether they be personal and/or professional. It might be better to ask them instead of me.
