| Well then, as promised; Here i am!! :-P Whilst i recently looked at your archive, it surprises me that your number of comments are relatively low, whilst comparing that to the amount of work you put into your art. Ofcourse there are people who got less, and that is kind of bad for their self-esteem, because wether you like it or not, we all do upload to be seen.. So what would be the point in uploading, if nobody came to watch and/or comment? None i fear.. As for your art, i like to analyse things, and so i try to briefly explain to you on how i see your art. To me, there are three classes of artist out here on the FAA and the rest of the internet included: "Art-gods": Those whom most people look up to, whilst kept fed-up/annoyed by many comments like: "OMG that looks SOOO good!!" -- In other words: People that wish to become like them! People often wonder why those "Art Gods" nearly never, if ever, reply to their comment.. How would you feel if you had to answer 80+ picture comments on everything you created, in a most unique way, per picture?? Then there are those whom i call: "The Able" Those are the folks, who don't look up as much to these "Art Gods" because they can do their fair share of stuff, only peeking around for a new way to improve. Feeling confident on their work, and still able to reply to most comments they get. And then there are those whom strive for attention, those whom nobody seems to like, whilst their art is aimed for attention. To put you in a jar: i think you might be put into the second group. But you're on your way to become an "Art God" yourself. i myself still feel like i belong to the last bunch of people, as i myself do not draw that well, but somehow quite a fair share of people think my art is interesting. And i still wonder why. But there is another thing that i came to notice, you might know her, or maybe not, but if you do, you should recognise this: i think your big-cat-art looks alot like Tani Da Real's art, but then more muscle/bulky. --Bigger paws, and so on. And it is not something to be ashamed of, as you still did create your own way of drawing, even if you based your work loosely on miss Da Real's work. (To be honest, i think most people draw after influencing artists their works) But then again, ofcourse, i could be wrong :-P But it just came to my mind. For the rest, i hope you like your stay. And keep on drawing for yourself eh! :-) It was nice to hear from you, so thanks again for everything! PS: i hope i don't sound too rude, because it was not my intention to sound like that; All i wanted is to be a bit more informative than most people tend to be. Just to give you something to read, and to be a bit more original then the standard: "Oooh nice pictures reaction" :-P Ok, so i sound a bit like a common jerk, but only with good intentions though. :-) But hey, nobody is perfect i suppose. But i hope this (temporarily) stops your hunger for knowledge, happy reading! :-P *Edit*Well, you're always welcome to do so! :-) Would be an honor to me, if you would explain yourself even more, then you already did. Downright marvelous i'd say! :-D |

Whoa, thank you for taking the time to write this...wow...I'm almost speechless. I mean no one taken the time to write such a well thought out and well...long comment. lol! Eh, yeah, I don't seem to get as many comments as some people here, but I appreciate any feedback anyones willing to give me. :) I'm floored that you think I'm some sort of potential 'Art God' LOL *shakes head* I think I quite a ways to go before that happens, if ever, but thanks for the sentement, it means a lot. :) I try not to worry about not getting huge amounts of feedback, or my status on the archive, (I will admit it does sting a little to work hard on something and have it be ignored, but thems the breaks sometimes) I try to consentrate on being the best artist I can be. :) And I think you're absolutely right, if people didn't care about feedback they would disable comments, and I'll wager that isn't too common. ;) That being said...I think people can go overboard with wanting comments, favs, fame etc. getting to point where the lack of feedback affect thier self-esteem or is their sole motivation for doing art. *rambles* Believe it or not I've never heard of Tani Da Real before, though she is wonderful, it's an honor to be compared to her! Though I think she has a better grip on anatomy and feline facial structure than I do. Thank for mentioning her though, I was really missing out! However I'm sure you're right about all artists being influenced by artists they admire, I'm know I am influenced by other artists that I watch, not only on this archive. And no, I don't think you're rude at all, your certainly straight forward, which is quite refreshing. :) Thanks Again for the comment. P.S I'll probably come back and add to this later my moms screaming at me to get off >.> lol

| I remember seeing and faving one of your pics months ago. And now I've discovered you again :) Great stuff! Your art's got this smooth, soft feeling in it; the anatomy looks very beautiful. I particularly liked the "realistic Timon" one, and how you mixed real fur and meerkat pose into Timon's design. I like how many of your images have interesting, original ideas. Plus, it's good to finally see some Uncle Max&Timon's ma fan art. ...and yet another wonderful meerkat artist goes on my watchlist :) *favs* |

| how have i not commented on your gallery yet? I love all your art, i find it amazing how you draw meerkats so well. I think theyre the hardest tlk animals to draw, but you bring out the emotion and character so well! I don't think I've seen another artist draw timon as well as you do, keep it up! :D and i'd love to see more of your realism art, the way you do fur texture is unbelievable! |
