Another character from my Shard Story. He's a rebelious little brat that tags along with Damon, Shard and Zylo.

Alek's trusty Rhastadon that he found orphaned in a den. He raised the pup from infancy into a fine steed.

He is a Shadow, a race of metamorph/symbiotic people. He his permanently bonded to Shard and proves to be her faithful companion and rival at times.

The older brother of Jacca. He is a favorite amoung the lions, those than are old enough say he resembles Mufasa a great deal.

Unfortunately, this first-born is irresponsible, arrogant and prone to anger.

He is the Senior General of the Del-Ajor army. A bit of a jerk, and much more seasoned than Jarrek, he dominates in military and politics...

I actually have a story based on TLK now!!!

Jacca is the younger son of Kovu and Kiara. He is intelligent, quite and reserved. Doesn't pick many fights or get involved with conflicts like his older brother Ezu.

The problems begin when Kovu, right before he dies, annouces to Ezu, Jacca and Kiara his heir to the throne. It's not the rambunctious Ezu like everyone expects, but Jacca! Furious, Ezu swears to kill his brother.

Jacca flees to the outlands and into the desert beyond. There he meets a struggling nomadic pride. Using his wits, he helps them find alternate sources of food and water that keep them alive through the dry season.

The leader of the nomads, (a lion yet to be named), sees Jacca as good fortune and weds him to his daughter, Zachael. Zachael is not at all too happy with this, (she was in love with another lion) and constantly picks and prods at Jacca. He loves her, but realizes that he is just her great misfortune.

She bears the pride a cub or two, but Jacca knows for a fact that the cubs aren't his. He keeps this secret, not wanting any harm upon her.

Time will come when he returns to reclaim the throne. There is some secret that Adhai kept from Mufasa, concerning the nomads that will come into play on Jacca's return.

Older brother of Alek. He was born the Swaff, just like his little brother. He, Alek and their father used to be the a forminable group until famine hit their homeland.

For some reason or another, Jarrek's father chose to/had to (I haven't decided the exact circumstances) the Swaff (which in is the continent of Gargyrn) and move north to Del-Ajor to stay with some distant relatives. These relatives had recently gained nobility through the Del-Ajor army. (Military in Del-Ajor means everything.)

Something happens to the father, I just haven't decided. He might get drafted or something.

Jarrek, grows up in the granduer household and seeming tries to forget his past life as a peasant farmer.

At sixteen he enroles in the military acedemy and quickly progresses through the ranks. (He is a very charasmatic person, intelligent, good looking, blonde ::snickers::)

At twenty-six he becomes the youngest general to ever serve in the Del-Ajor army.

All this time, only his family knows that he is native to Gargyrn (Gargyrn and Del-Ajor hate each other). Or at least he thinks no one else knows...

He later meets Shard (a blossoming general-to-be) when she is captured by the Del-Ajor army.

Kist, the female counterpart of the D'Vaark husband-wife assasin-duo. She speaks even less than her husband. Silent, slender and deadly.

She had a story, but it was thrown out due to infinate cheeziness.

Right now she just acts as a sort of avatar of myself. My thoughts, feelings and so on.

There is, however, a human Shard that has a full blown (and to be written) story. Some of her pictures parallel that story.

As for the head-things, they just are. Not even I know.

Used to to have some cheesy story to go with these.

Basically, they're a lion/wolf mix. Not in actually, but in appearance. I'm going to stick them on some world in one of my stories.

They populate the Swaff, a grassland area in Gargyrn (continent) on the world of Aris. My character Alek has a female Rhasta as a pet/steed.

The Rhastadons or Rhastas for short are like larger versions of lions with huge, musclular build. They can be ridden like horses, and provide a larger, stonger steed, while not as fast. Rhastadons live in the wild mainly, and if a human can tame one, he is VERY fortunate. What they make up for in vigor and brute strength they lose in intelligence. They are not as cunning as either lions or lelves, but they aren't stupid either.

D'Vaark assasin that meets Shard after his wife, Kist falls prey to a deadly illness. He carries Kist into camp and asks that Shard's medical team help her.

In exchange for their aid, Tret offers one mark to Shard. Shard, not one to use assasin, makes him a counter-offer. Tret then tracks down and kills a different assasin that has been plaguing Shard's troops recently.

Zachael (prounced Zash-ail) is an nomadic lion that wanders the desert and badlands with her pride. When Jacca comes and brings good fortune their pride, her father, the nomad leader, betrothes her to the newcomer.

All this while she has been in love with a stronger lion who has left the pride in search for food. She does get married to Jacca, and becomes very bitter. Even though he treats her fairly, she is never late to remind him his faults.

A primary character from Shard Story. He's a mercenary that encounters a lost Shard and Damon. Shard and Zylo strike a deal, Zylo protects them until they can get back to earth, Shard will help Zylo on an assignment he has on earth.

Shard and Zylo have a sort of unspoken connection in their serious and silent personalities. Despite his age (appears to be in his 30s), she develops a slight attraction to him during their journeys.
