He's not a jerk, not really--but he can act like it sometimes. He is very reserved and guarded to everyone he meets, the only exception being a very small group of friends. His aloof manner is mostly a mask--no one knows about his past but can guess that it wasn't exactly a happy one.

The ditzy and orphaned princess of the Pridelands, Adia is driven away from her home by a raging fire and is taken in by a nomadic pride famed for its power and intellect. There she meets Kayin, a friendly newcomer, and Samirah, a shadowy cub that seems to have no trouble annoying the crap out of her. But trouble is brewing in the shadows, and soon she finds herself in the middle of a murder plot...which you'll have to read about, sorry.
