My fursona! Her personality is based off of mine. My nickname in reality is in fact "Li Li".
Most often she takes life seriously, interested in the facts, opinionated and is usually not very excitable. However, despite her quiet exterior, she can be very vocal, sarcastic, and fun-loving when she wants to be, and can be a bit of an obsessive nerd.

Pale-furred lioness, the white streak in her tail was obtained at her birth (she was born breech). She has an adventurous and wondering heart, a loner, but becomes a surrogate mother to Keeli.

Baya -- bad, evil, wicked
Blond hair tuft as a cub, blond and red as adult

Baya is from a small, aloof nieghboring pride. Mohatu doesn't trust any of Baya's family, so they keep their distance from each other. However, Busara has struck up a good friendship with the young cub.

Baya is mischeivious, and often gets them both into trouble. Busara is usually the skeptical one of the two, and likes to look at the practical side of things, though Baya has a way of getting her to occasionally loosen up a little.

She's a grey lioness, and sister to Mohatu. She is rather shy, but can open up when she wants to. She is fiercely independent, skeptical, and doesn't like being around many other lions with the exception of her brother and her best friend, Baya.

In a way, she sort of represents a different side of me, and so I'll keep her as a sort of 2nd fursona.

Personality: quiet, dignified, keenly aware of injustice.

The fiction:
One day, a small, remote zoo in South Africa rescued a small, sickly cub which they named Jamila. As a cub, she was obliviously happy, and never gave a thought to much of anything except three square meals a day, napping in the afternoon sun, playing occasionally with the keepers, and being shown off for educational purposes. Overall, it was a conventional but pleasant life for her.
As she grew into adulthood, the keepers were planning on pairing her with a male lion that they had just rescued. When Jamila discovered their plan, she was disgusted, having no desire to be forced into having a mate, and began planning her escape. However, she was captured and tranquilized by environmentalists before she could carry it out. They set her free in the African Savannah, along with an abnormally small adolescent cheetah, Siku (a couple others that were scattered across the savannah as well).
The environmentalists, however, didn't realize what they'd done, for since the two felines grew up in a sheltered environment, neither of them knew how to live without the help of the humans.
One day, Siku is attacked by a jaguar, another one of the escaped cats from their former home. Jamila bravely defended her friend and saved his life, and a heated argument ensued between her and the South American cat. Long story short, due to his superior hunting skills, at length, they form a unfriendly alliance. Eventually, the jaguar and Jamila fall in love. Sadly, her husband died soon after due to poaching. Jamila never saw him after that time, and believed him to have abandoned her. She slipped into a deep depression which eventually took her life during birth of her hybrid cub, which she named Vakasa before she died.

Keeli is a young lioness, mute from birth. But she is surprisingly optimistic and outgoing despite her malady.

(2nd fursona?)

The second cub of Kovu and Kiara. She’s much like Kiara, except she has a balance of mischief and compassion, much like Nala. She also can be a little bit of a brat sometimes, but doesn’t tolerate others when they are this way.

Li-Li's mom. She's loud, talkative and crazy most of the time, but can be quiet and cuddly as well. She and Li-Li can be really good friends and at odds at the same time, but they still love each other.

Siku was a close friend of Vakasa's mother. He was grief-stricken by Jamila's death, and so vowed to raise and protect the cub as his own, out of love for her.
He's Vakasa's guardian, friend and and a sort of advisor that is often the voice of reason when Vakasa wants to do something he thinks is a bit rash.

Because of a genetic defect, he is unusually small for his age, so it's comical to think of Vakasa, who's twice Siku's size, being bossed around by him. He is very protective of his young charge, who he believes to be unruly and in desperate need of his watchful eye.

1st son of Kiara and Kovu. His personality is much like Mufasa--he has a short temper, and his mood varies between being very serious and very silly.

Vakasa is what her name describes, a wanderer, and prefers a somewhat solitary and independent life. She loves to be outgoing with those that she knows. Can be lazy, and somewhat sarcastic and adventuresome.
Her philosophy is that she will never be "owned" by a male, since she believes from what happened to her mother that her father abandoned them. This excludes her best friend and caretaker, Siku, who always follows her on her adventures, more or less to keep her wildness in check rather than to enjoy himself.
