A fun-loving female that just loves to fly. Kyala is a tough fighter and great hunter, but can sometimes be a little clumsy around cute guys. She is confident in her abilites and has a 'I don't take crap from anyone' attitude.

Angalia is the daughter of Kicheko of the Jua pride. Her half siblings are Kima, Nyonda, and Kwaruza. She is best friends with a cub named Tamu from the Nyota pride. When she was a cub, Angalia and Tamu agreed that they were to be best friends forever and nothing more. However, as they got older, Angalia started to grow feelings for her childhood friend. Sadly, he doesn't share those feelings.

Angalia is Swahili for Observe, look, watch, check, inspect.

She is nicknamed Anga, which is Swahili for Sky, air, the heavens, atmosphere, space, radiance, brilliance.

Honoka is a masked lioness who is a healer of the prides. She was found by Kivuli (a leopardess and shaman of the prides) as a cub and is being trained to become Kivuli's successor. She is much younger then Angalia; she appears around the time Angalia had her first litter of cubs.

Banduka felt like he didn't belong in his penguin family, so one day he left to travel the plains of Africa. He then traveled to the higher parts of Africa and met Kawena, a young male lion that was cast out of his pride. They have been traveling together ever since.
