Personality: It's hard to think of her as a queen. She is calm and collected, gentle and kind. She's powerful only when she needs to be, and otherwise acts as a friend to those who live in her land, and prefers not to be called "Your Highness" or any other such thing that refers to her title. Instead, she prefers to be called "Amritha", or even "Amri", a nickname given to her by her closest and dearest friends. She's someone you'd definately want to know if you're in trouble, as she'll give her all to defend those she loves and trusts, and would die to protect her home.

Background: Long. O_o; Highly detailed. I'll give you a paragraph, but for the rest, email me... Amritha was born in India, alongside her younger twin, Lakini. As children, they constantly fought, Lakini usually the one starting it. As time passed, Amritha chose to leave her family, but Lakini discovered her leaving, so both Amritha, Lakini, and their mother ended up leaving their home to travel far across the lands. When they were attacked by a group of lions, they group of snow leopards split up. Amritha watched as their mother was killed, and not knowing that Lakini was alive, fled. She later discovered her sister was living, and very unhappy with Amritha. Lakini attempted to kill her sister. Amritha escaped to a new land and came to call it "Shanata", which means "Peaceful" or "Tranquil". She soon became queen and found her mate, Aidan [© his player].

Background: She was born in a Pride far from the Pridelands. As a cub, her mother died defending her from hyenas. Ashanti survived, but with one reminder from her past always to haunt her - her tail was torn in the middle from a hyena. Believing the strange cub to be a bad omen, Lewa's birth-mother packed her bags and left as quickly as she could with her newborns. However, the few-hours old Lewa's cries did not go unheeded. A leopardess by the name of Binta discovered the child. Having only a few days ago lost her only cub, and yearning for her own once more, she immediately brought Lewa into her care. When Lewa was an adolescent, she discovered what her birth-mother did to her, and swiftly left Binta [and action she later regretted.]

Personality: The kind, wise, warm-hearted king, Sekala is a well-loved leonine by most. He knows his enemies and he knows his friends, and chooses each of them carefully, if he can. His a loyal feline. Once his trust is gained, it can be easy to break. But having his trust is well-worth it. Despite his menacing exterior, he is as warm and loving as a father to many.

Background: Sekala came from a very long line of kings, all but for one, great. It began with Mohatu, then Ahadi. Ahadi's eldest son, Mufasa, took the throne next. However, his brother, Taka, who was best known as Scar, grew jealous, for he desired to be king. So he murdered his brother and attempted to do the same to his nephew, the Prince Simba. However, that did not work, and so Scar was soon destroyed. Next was no king, but a queen. Kiara chose an Outlander for her mate, Kovu, and for the first time, Outlanders and Pridelanders were united...

And so did Kovu's children grow, give birth to their own children, then pass on. Thrice did this cycle repeat before Sekala was born.

The largest and eldest cub of a four-cub litter, Sekala was destined to be King of the Pridelands. The boy was trained in the ways of his father, Tahani, who he attempted in every way to mimic. He wanted to be just like his dad. His mother, Hidala, was left to his brother and two sisters, Raki, Ami, and Wasima. As he grew from cub to adolescent, his good life took a sudden turn.

He had grown spoiled as a child, and was known as a rotten brat-of-a-prince. That was all to change. The driest season that had ever occurred since the reign of the cruel lion, Scar, came about. The drought slowly killed off the pride, and with it, Sekala's heart filled with worry, and thus was a change brought.

He learned to be kinder, and to see that all were equal. It was hard for him, this season. Mostly because the life of his brother, Raki, his sister, Ami, and his mother, Hidala, were all claimed by the earth. The royal famil had shrunk, leaving only the King Tahani, the heir, Prince Sekala, and his young sister, the Princess Wasima.

Sekala was wisened by these experiences, and as he grew into a king that was truly fit to rule, it showed. When at last it was time, he gave a great roar, and he was king...

Personality: She is quiet and solitary, prefering, above other things, to be alone. She knows of her heritage as a crossbreed, and is troubled by it, often left to wonder over it as she rests, or to confront those she does, or perhaps doesn't, know in her dreams. She can be bitter, and his very defensive. However, she adores cubs, no matter their species, and would gladly aid them if she can.

Background: Though what exactly occurred in her past is blurred by time, the ligeress knows quite a lot of her own past. In a small, roadside zoo, there was a lion and tigeress caged together. It was because the zoo lacked space that they were originally placed together, and a strange, unlikely accident occured. Lion and tiger grew to love one another, and a small litter of three cubs was born. However, all were extremely weak, and two were lost, leaving only the strongest of them (who was still very weak) alive.

So, the crossbreed spent much time in a cage most of her youth. In her adolescence, somehow, the three escaped their cage when the door seemingly "blew" open. However, her mother the tigeress, nor her father, survived long in the unfamiliar wilds of Africa. However, the child was lucky, as she found an aging, but kindly leopardess who taught her how to survive.

Background: No one knows really. He met Zene, and taught her about living as a rogue after she left her pride [she was quite clueless, really...] and soon the two were in love. She became pregnant, had the cubs, and secretly, he fed her meat, but never was seen again after that.

Even though he doesn't like to, he will often follow Kri on her adventures, since she will often tease him about his fears, which he highly dislikes...

Notes when Drawing: Careful with the eyes; though they do have a little bit of color, mostly the silver should be seen... only the highlights should really be colored at all. The gem on her chest is a smooth oval with a silver outline. The gem itself is black and seems to have stars in it - it's like you're looking into deep space...

Description: Nasha's mother. She looks just like Nasha, except she has a scar across her chest, her fur's slightly lighter, and her eyes are gold.

Personality: Zene is a kind lioness, much unlike her daughter in many ways. She does what she can to help others, and prefers to be around others, rather than stray from them. She likes the company of others, but is less trusting of males, and is secretive about her status as a queen... or former queen, anyway.

Description: The third version of Zina to appear. She is the least like all of the other Zina's in several ways. She isn't a scaredy cat - quite the opposite, really. She's brave and powerful, willing to do much for her friends... but she knows when she goes too far. She speaks with an accent, particularly accenting r's and o's, trilling r's and saying most o's like "ew".

She heavily resembles Zina - Marozi, without amber in the center of the rosettes, a leopard-like tail, and grin eyes instead.

Description: The second Zina to appear, she's got the same history and personality as Zina/Marozi. For better reference to appearance, there's the picture here, and below...

Description: The first and original Zina appeared as a Marozi, on Demi Haze MUCK, which has long since closed down. She has a pelt the same color as Kiara's or Simba's, to make it easy for you. In other words, a Wheaten Gold. Her pelt is spotted with rosettes, the majority of which have their centers filled with an amber hue. Her eyes are the same hue as the amber on her fur.

Personality: Many know Zina to be a Scaredy Cat, and she knows it. However, there's more to the Marozi than that. Though not entirely dependant, she prefers not to be alone. It's hard to tell whether she's more leopard or lion! When threatened, she's more likely to flee or make some rash move, rather than to fight back. With the power of shadow and darkness, however, she's also capable of morphing into small animals, such as birds (Particularly the small Chikadee), or foxes to help her escape... or otherwise.
