He travels alone searching for the perfect spot to settle down in. other hyena's don't care for him because they see him as a liability they think he's bad luck. he's the last of his pack that was destroyed by a pride of lions. he hopes to find a pack to take him in someday.

She sometimes thinks she still is one, but is quickly reminded she isn't when she get scolded from one of the older lionesses.
