Originally, Flink travelled around as a living, visiting new places, but soon moving on to somewhere else.

One day he came across a delightful area of woodland, and then after meeting a most intruiging Ground Squirrel, decided to settle down and stay. He transormed the fellow from a moody, grumbly creature to being sociable and friendly, and they became friends.

Everyday he flys to visit his friends the Pridelanders and spend some time with them,(Where he chats with a fellow bird, a hornbill named Zazu) but the majority of it is spent with Kai, who lives on his own.

He is cheerful, optimistic and mischevious.

Kai lives on his own, and before meeting a certian bird, cared nothing for the business of others and hardly ever took an intrest in things that didn't concern him. Animals living in the surrounding area tried to befriend him at first, but quickly realised that there was no point, and soon everyone thought of him as an anti-social grumbler.

Not far from his home was a small area of woodland which provided many delicacies for all sorts of animals. Normally they came daily, but they didn't usually make much noise so he took little notice.

However, one day a newcomer came, and instead of taking what he needed and then leaving, he stayed there and not only did he eat, but he sang all day. Some might say the singing was attractive, but to Kai it sounded terrible, and eventually he reluctantly crawled out to voice his opinions.

No one really knows what happened, but the bird wasn't a pushover and he didn't clear off when Kai told him to. He was incredibly good humoured, and thought the whole thing was a joke. Over time thier friendship developed and they became a very unusual pair of friends, though Kai never used that word.

This whole process caused Kai to become more outgoing, and some of Flink's characteristics rubbed off on Kai. To the present day, he is friendly and sociable and has a wide network of friends.

Although Flink remains his closest.

Kambiri's mother was a Cheetah, and had lived in a research lab for over half her life, where crossbreeding was tested on her. When she was pregnant with Kambiri, she was rescued and released into the wild, where Kambiri was born.

Kambiri grew up in Africa, and lived with her mother for a while, but because of her they were both shunned by other Cheetahs, when Kambiri was still too young to understand why. Eventually they came to a land known as the Pridelands, where they met a pride of lions who did not reject them. Kambiri's mother left her in the care of these lions and went to live with the other Cheetahs in the Pridelands, although she visited Kambiri frequently.

So Kambiri grew up on Pride rock, and never really understood why she was different from the other cubs. One cub in particular she grew especially close to, and they were best friends for most of thier cubhood.
Most of the time she is good natured, but she sometimes can get a little irritable.

Kambiri never knew her father.

Kutala lives a normal life. She was born in the Pridelands, lived with her family and played with the other cubs day after day, not caring much about responsibilities and never growing bored. They often played Dares and she would do every one layed on her, which often resulted in her getting into trouble.

The only unusual part of her life is that she is best friends with a Tiger-Cheetah Crossbreed. Of course she doesn't know that. She just thinks she's friends with an unusual Cheetah. None of the pride has ever seen or heard of a Tiger before, so no lion knows what the crossbred cub is.

When she first met her, she was immensly fascinated and was the first of the cubs to talk to her, the others feeling curious, but cautious. It's rumoured tht it might have been a dare for her, but no one knows if that's true. After she proved that the crossbreed was no danger at all, the other cubs followed her and accepted the stranger almost at once.

Rukii grew up on the digging team in her colony, but the whole thing bored her, and her love for adventure often led her to abandon digging and sneak away to explore above ground. She was rarely missed, as the labirinth of tunnels was huge, and she was assumed to be somewhere underground. During the day everyone was busy anyway, so they hardly took the time to stop and ponder where one young meekat would be.. Besides, she was always back in time for dinner, which took place in one large hall, and where the whole community of meerkats would eat. But that's irrelevant.

One day when she was exploring, she came across an unusually large acorn, the largest any meerkat had ever seen. Amazed by such a specimen, she prized off the shell and took to using it as a helmet, and from then on hardly ever removed it. She also constructed for herself a catapult from various natural resources, and would practice with it every day, eventually becoming quite a proficient.

This did make her well known for her aim throughout the colony, and she became the only female meerkat on sentry duty. So she did get to stop digging, and she liked patrolling the area, because, after all, it is kind of like exploring.

She lives with her mother, a father, 2 younger sisters, 1 younger brother and 1 older brother.
Although her nature leads her to be free spirited, she does try to be disciplined and can be a little militaristic.
