Anani grew up in a small pride whose territory was around a riverbank, she fell in love with the pride leader, Bron. Eventually they had cubs, one of which was stillborn, the other they named Nafino. While walking one day, there was a terrible rock slide, she lost Bron, and Nafino was injured. The rock slide blocked off the only passage to her pride's lands, so she wandered around for days, until she met up with a new pride that took her and her injured son in.

After she and Nafino had settled for a while, the pride leader that took them in, Teshi, began to court Anani. Three years after the death of Bron, she finally accepted his proposal. They have a cub together named Bron, after Nafino's father, as Anani still holds him dear to her heart.

This is my fursona, Banji. She's a mischeivous little thing when she's little, and a mischievous little thing when she grows up >.>;; she likes to daydream and watch clouds, and loves climbing trees.
Ulan is her older twin sister, they're best friends. Of the two, Banji is the messy one, as can be seen by her unruly tufts of fur. While she likes to goof off, she can be very responsible when called for.
As a young adult, she falls in love with Nafino.

Banji means 'secondborn twin'

Bron is Anani and Teshi's son, the prince of the grasslands pride. This young and energetic cub loves spending time with his father, but looks at his older brother, Nafino with just as much adoration, despite Nafino's disability. Even from a young age, Bron is gifted with the ability to see beyond things.

He is best friends with Kody

Crevan is a rogue lion that occassionally passes through grasslands territory, he is considered friendly by the pride, but still approached with caution. He meets young Nafino during one such trip, and stays a while in the territoriy mentoring him. Teshi sees this as necessary for Nafino, and does not drive Crevan or his young charge, Kenya from the lands until Nafino is ready for them to leave.

Crevan is missing his left front leg, and is blind in one eye.

Hila is a Meerkat, she comes from a large family, and often times feels as if she has been overlooked.
She is a bit tomboyish, and tried a few times to get attention by acting brave (sometimes foolishly) in front of her family. One such event was when she decided to leave the immediate area of her home. She was chased by birds, but Taba the Hyrax saved her by pulling her into his family's den. They've been best friends ever since =)

Kenya travels as a rogue with Crevan, one day they meanander into the grassland pride's territory, where they meet young Nafino. Nafino looks up to Crevan as a role model, and Kenya as a big brother figure.

Kezai is Banji and Ulan's father, he is a rogue lion. He also has an older son from the same lioness named Morrin.

Kezai refuses to settle down, so he lives the lifestyle of a rogue, and is often far away from his mate and cubs, they see eachother only once a year at best.

Kody is Bron (II)'s best friend, he's a bit mischievous, but a loyal to a fault. He'd leap headlong into a stampede of wildebeests if he knew it would help his friends.
Personality-wise, he is pretty funny, he loves to tell jokes and stories, and even does little voices for each part. As much as he likes to joke, he likes to eat, which explains why he is slightly chubby.

When he grows up, Bron allows him to continue living in the grasslands, under the condition that he cannot take a mate from within the pride. A huge exception to the grasslands traditions.
He eventually settles down with a lioness from a neighboring pride named Noca, they have two cubs. Kody lives on the borders of their territories, so that he will be close to both Bron and his family.

Meet Malloy and Marcus. Malloy (left) is a Private Investigator, one of the savannah's most sought-after. Marcus is his protege & nephew.
They make a good team. Malloy is singularly focused on his mission, while Marcus is lazier and wants nothing more than to solve their cases & go home, so he pushes the action though Malloy's got the instincts. Malloy=pumpkin, Marcus=red. Adding to the physical descript. since you can't see it, Malloy is brown eyed, Marcus periwinkle blue.

Specifications:
I would like them to go as a pair to someone who would use them. I don't especially care about how often they're /drawn/ just that they are /used/--ie., fitted into the lives/world/stories of your main or pre-existing characters, or RPed with, I think they're loose/versatile enough characters. It would make me gleeful to hear back from whoever takes them with an update, but it's not necessary
On a similar note, I don't often adopt out characters because I want them to still BE those characters, so please don't take them just for the designs.

Originally adopted from DJ Coulz, Nafino was in an accident when he was very young, which lead to the loss of his right front paw, along with a section of his tail. Despite the tragedy, he still remains optimistic about the future, and is determined not to let his disability get in the way of his life. When he is young he meets two rogues, Crevan and Kenya. He sees Crevan as a mentor, as Crevan is also missing his front leg. He sees Kenya as an older brother.
As a young adult, he falls in love with Banji.
Around the same time, when he is about three years old (late teens in human years), his mother has another cub named Bron. Nafino is very protective of his younger brother, even if he is only 'half', he doesn't see it that way.

Riordan is a Liger, a Lion/Tiger hybrid, born to a Tigress mother and Lion father, like all known Ligers, he was born in captivity, and is the first of many lined up in a program to introduce Ligers to the wild. As a young adult, he was released into the wild with a tracking collar, which was engineered to break off when his neck outgrew it several months later. He traveled as a rogue for a while, he met Banji and Vasha during his wanderings, and was eventually accepted into their pride, the leader of the pride sees him as no threat, as it is widely known that hybrids are almost always born sterile.

Riordan is Celtic for 'Royal Poet'

Taba is a Rock Hyrax that I adopted from Megan F =3 like most Rock Hyrax, he was born into a very large extended family. In order to get attention as a youngster he liked to cause trouble, so the adults were wary when he approached their children to go play outside. He is best friends with Hila, as they have a lot in common. Both come from large families that they feel left out from, and they both have a lot of energy.

Teshi leads the grasslands pride that all of these characters live in. He is a kind and generous leader, he always makes sure no one gets left behind.

When Anani brought her injured cub to his pride and pleaded for his help, he became smitten with her. He respected her need to mourn for her mate though, so he did not begin courting her until two years later. He grew very fond of her son, Nafino, he is one of the few males that stays with the pride. Because of the grasslands pride traditions strictly requiring him to have a queen before stepping up to the throne, he begged his father to continue his reign until Anani was ready for courting, an unprecidented request.

When he and Anani finally get together, they have a son named Bron, after her old mate. As his first legitimate heir with his chosen Queen, Bron will inherit the responsibilities of being a leader when he grows up, so Teshi spends a lot of time tutoring his young son.

Banji's older twin sister, they have the same coloring, but Ulan is a lot neater groomed, no fluffles sticking out. Her personality is a lot neater too, and often times she has to keep her younger sister in check, or she'll go off and do something silly. While she is the more down-to-earth one of the pair, she is not necessarily the most responsible one.
Ulan means 'firstborn twin'

Vasha is best friends with both Banji and Ulan, she's slightly younger than them, but is probably stronger than them. She can have a violent temper, but only if someone crosses her friends.
