An enormous black panther who has made his home in the abandoned Elephant Graveyard. Huge, glossy and muscular, he enjoys terrorising any lion cubs foolish enough to bug him.

A rather nicer panther than Banbe, Joseph gets his name from the Paul Simon song 'Under African Skies'.

A young aardwolf. Eh...he doesn't have much character as yet, I haven't roleplayed with him enough.

An Outlands cub, born in a time of famine. His legs are slightly bandy from calcium deficiency and he will always be undersized. Both his littermates died at a few weeks old, so Bo is very precious to his elderly mother Myana. He is a season younger than Kovu and Vitani, who bully him a little; there's a nick in his left ear from a scrap with Vitani. Though small he is always determined not to be left out of anything, and obstinately sticks up for himself and his beliefs. He longs for the day when his mane will grow.

Elderly lioness, low-ranking. A natural carer, she has nursed many cubs but did not have her own litter until late in life. Her son Mpo is the only survivor; his brother Moto and sister Meenya died of malnourishment at a few weeks old. She goes where she is needed most; hence she followed Zira into the Outlands to help care for her cubs.

A slight young Ethiopian Wolf who has yet to grow into his large white paws. His fur is reddish and coarse except on his chest and stomach, where it is sandy and strokeable. His short tail is tipped with black. His golden eyes twinkling with humour and curiosity, when meeting others he seems ever caught between shyness and eagerness. His ears and moist little nose twitch constantly, as he is always hungry and always on the alert for rodent prey. Mmmm...golden mole rat...
