Later, with the help of Uru, she and Scar are able to have a child together (Binti), who the old lion raises as his own.

Aroca~based on my screen name (Aero~Aerosmith + Cat)

My own fursona, with a life loosely based on my own. Her fur is similar to my skin when tan, with the belly being close to my own natural skin. Her tail and 'mane' are a dark brown, and the hair grows along her back with age.

Aroca is the most shy, and-due to having the most traumatic life-is the most unstable, and looks to her friends for protection.

This sly lioness is Vitani's half-sister, and was queen for a very short time during Kovu's reign.

Baya used to live in the Outlands with Zira's pride, but these days she lives alone in a swampy area outside the boundary of the Pride Lands. She's plotting to push herself back into the leadership position, but this time, by controlling Kovu's long-lost heir...

Hekima~Wisdom

Hekima is the grandfather of Rafiki, and was the shaman of the Pride Lands during Ahadi's reign. He is a psychic, which is not always helpful to him or others. He was the only one able to foresee Taka/Scar's future...

Kijari~mix of Kijana(son) and Hodari (brave)

This cub is the son of Kovu and Kiara, and, due to unfortunate events, is the only one that lives. After Aroca moves in with the pride, he becomes a protective brother to her, keeping an eye out for any enemies, or worse, untrusting lions

Makali~harshness; braveness

Vitani's son with a rogue, and Aroca's best friend. Although he's had problems in the past, he is a kind and loving friend to Aroca. He's always by her side, whether it's against the revenging Baya, or supposed friends

Malkia~Queen
(Formerly known as Kayla)

Malkia is the daughter of Kovu and Kiara, the twin sister of Mfalme, and the older sibling of Kijari. She and her brother were sent to live with their grandparents in the Outlands, but didn't survive the uprising against their father.

Mela~comes from the binomial name for the species, Canis mesomelas

Mela comes to the Pride Lands as a pup, with the same group as Zuri. Having been born into a family said to have ruled the lands before the Lions, she seems to feel that she is better than everyone else, a trait that Aroca strongly dislikes. It isn't long before Mela has many enemies in the Pride Lands, which may or may not include Makali...

Mfalme~King
(Formerly known as Kimba)

Mfalme is the eldest son of Kovu and Kiara, twin of Malkia, and older brother of Kijari. He and his sister were sent to live with their grandparents in the Outlands, but didn't survive the uprising against their father.

Ngugu~friend

Ndugu is a rogue lion who wanders into the Pride Lands, and is welcomed immediately, due to his friendly personality. Although a little shy, he soon warms up to Aroca, who later falls in love with him. There are problems with their relationship, though, as other friends, forgotten mates, and a dark secret fall into place...

Shambulia~to attack

This hyena is the mother of Shenzi, and was the leader of a hyena clan during Ahadi's reign. Although not very effective in getting her family fresh meat, she is well-known in the Pride Lands as 'The Lion Killer.' Her rugged appearance, included her many scars and cuts in her ears prove how dangerous she is to her worst enemy, and young Taka is no exception...
