Pictures created by our artists as tributes or memorials for the victims of the terrorist attacks that took place in New York City and Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2001, as well as the ones that have occurred in Bali, Madrid, London, and other places in the world

Vigilance.
Inspired by the 9/11 folder here. This strong and defiant lion stands ever ready and proud to protect the country that he loves. He bears the isignia of General of the Army on his left foreleg, which is the highest rank in the US Military and is a special rank reserved for wartime.

So, a 9/11 picture.
What I mean by this pic is...
Well, what happened on 9/11 was tragic. When tragic things happen, some souls stick around and haunt...
So what I'm saying is, I'm happy for the souls that went to Heaven. But for those that stuck around...and I don't know why they do this, but they have their reasons...I hope they go to the Light someday.
If you don't agree with what I'm saying, you can state your views, but don't bash mine or tell me I'm wrong. Thank you. If I get any flames, I'm disabling comments on this picture.

WAR SUCKS!
I hate wars, I can't understand how people can support them, I mean, it's the stupidest s*** ever! And the result is allways the same: the poor get poorer, the rich get richer, the soldier dies, the innocent suffers... The same story is repeated once and again, and again, and again.... When are we going to start using our brains?
Did a sketch at school and later painted it with MS Paint. Again, crits are appreciated, and tutorials on shading, facial expression, anatomy, etc...are even more appreciated! Hope you like it ;D Peace!

As most of you know, today is September 11th. here in USA, that is a date no one will forget. this is the 7th anniversary of the Twin Towers terrorist attack. so to commerate those who were lost and those who survived and helped out, here is a pic I sketched today. it's a humanized version of my fursona, made to look me (the hair). colored version coming soon!
oh, and while I was drawing this, the song "Higher" by Creed entered my head and I think it suits it.

In detication to any Parent who has had to bury there child. To any spouse who lost a partner. To any Child who has lost a parent. To any soldier who has never come home.

Do not voice your political opinons here, thats not what this is about. Soldiers don't choose to go to war, they are sent but they choose to die so that any person can call themselves free, and so that we may have a chance to really live. This piece is to ANY soldier who never made it home, because we're all human and a dead son is still a dead son regardless of the flag folded over the casket.

I'm not American, so I can only imagine the pain it must have been for Americans and everyone who had relatives or friends there...

5th year anniversary for September 11. I have never seen it live on T.V. cause our principal didn't want us to watch the horrific events on this day *I was in 11th grade 16 yrs old* and I was upset because we never watched it live. Then today in the morning they showed it on a news channel like it was live today. Now I know why we didn't see it live that day. It made me so upset, and I felt like that all day. Anyway, I wanted to make a tribute to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, We will never forget.

I just wanted to say a few words: 5 years ago, this same day… a tragedy occurred…
Many people lost their lives that day. On September 12th, we had to write an essay of what happened the previous day, I thought deeply and asked myself this question, which still haunts me to this day “Why? Why did this happen?” Anyway, I just wanted to say that we must stand united, and I'm proud to be an American...
Remember the innocent who died on 9/11...

For the 5th anniversay of 9/11.
I still remember that day. I was in BCIS class, first period. The shop teacher from across the hall came in and said that one of the World Trade Center Towers had been hit by a plane. I was shocked becuase our band trip during spring break was going to NYC. Our BCIS teacher let us rotate in groups to see what was being shown on TV. When I was watching, it happened again. The South Tower was hit. Yes, I saw it on live television. I never forgot.

#2: If you don´t undestand the picture it's the moment when the second plane crashed on the world trade center, it was an unforgetable day, because schools were suspended and was able to see the disaster but of couse it was awfull to see how some people are capable of killing others just for religious reasons, or for political hate to a ruler.
Those people where inocent and they didn´t deserved that.
