These two have always been my favorite couple. They just seem so in love; it's adorable. <3

Here's just the flat colors; the background is going to take a while. And if anyone has any tips on doing backgrounds, they'd be verrry verry welcome!

"Look at the stars...all the great kings of the past are up there," told Imamu to his son, Rafiki. The young baboon gazed up at the night sky with wonder as Imamu proceeded. "As shaman, you will form a strong bond with these kings to help you assist the living."
"Wow." Rafiki smiled in awe.

I was searching for baboons on Google and found this: Baboon%20and%20Baby.jpg For some reason I automatically thought of Rafiki with his daddy. Baoon's really aren't that hard to draw, once you get the hang of it. C:

Oh, and Imamu means "spiritual guide" in Swahili.

What the heck, I'll enter it in the contest.

"Mom!" yowled Simba, as Sarabi's tongue rasped across his face. "Mom, you're messing up my mane." Sarabi smiled down at her annoyed son.
Zazu rolled his eyes as he took off toward Pride Rock. "Kids these days...no respect...tradition going back for generations..."
"Puh," Simba scoffed. "Well, when I'm king, that'll be the first thing to go."

Wow, lamest story in the history of lame stories, eh? Oh well, it gets the job done.
