These two have always been my favorite couple. They just seem so in love; it's adorable. <3

Here's just the flat colors; the background is going to take a while. And if anyone has any tips on doing backgrounds, they'd be verrry verry welcome!

"Wow." Rafiki smiled in awe.

I was searching for baboons on Google and found this: Baboon%20and%20Baby.jpg For some reason I automatically thought of Rafiki with his daddy. Baoon's really aren't that hard to draw, once you get the hang of it. C:

Oh, and Imamu means "spiritual guide" in Swahili.

What the heck, I'll enter it in the contest.

Kopa 'n Tani ♥

I drew Vitani and sketched Kopa in sketcher, but then I got disconnected so I finished him in Photoshop. Tani doesn't look too much like herself, but oh well; I love how Kopa came out. And I like Tani's shading.

Simba: That's not my father...
Firestar: Oh, not again...

I've had this idea in my head for a long time, and I finally buckled down and drew it while I was watching TLK. I'm not too happy with Firestar, but I'm amazed at how well Simba came out.

For those of you who don't get it, in the TLK, Rafiki takes Simba to a pool where he sees his father's reflection. (If you didn't know that, you probably shouldn't be on this site. =p) And in The Darkest Hour, Firestar sees a lion in the water. So yeah, this is the kind of sense of humor I have. :)

"Mom!" yowled Simba, as Sarabi's tongue rasped across his face. "Mom, you're messing up my mane." Sarabi smiled down at her annoyed son.
Zazu rolled his eyes as he took off toward Pride Rock. "Kids these days...no respect...tradition going back for generations..."
"Puh," Simba scoffed. "Well, when I'm king, that'll be the first thing to go."

Wow, lamest story in the history of lame stories, eh? Oh well, it gets the job done.

I'm very sorry for my prolonged absence from here. But I'm uploading something now--and hopefully more later.
Anyway, I got "The Art of the Lion King" last night from the library and just had to draw everyone's favorite little lion prince. It's not very good, i know. But I literally drew it in 5 minutes tops.

Alright in my little world, Sarafina technically isn't Sarabi's sister, but started out as her best friend. Then when Saffy's mother died, Sarabi's mother took her in. Then they moved to the Pridelands, for reasons i dont know. And Sarafina fell in love with Taka/Scar (he was originally going to be king), but they couldn't come out about their love because Taka was going to have an arranged marriage. But Taka did someting to put shame to his family, so Mufasa took over the throne.

I know, it's very confusing, but that's okay; it makes sense to me!

So here's Taka and Saffy under the stars, before Taka got denounced from his title.

For the contest, if I can make it!! O__o

Wow, something that's actually somewaht on topic!! Tis my two Warrior characters(who are originally cats) in lion-form. They're meeting secretly because their clans would never approve of their love.

Oh and the female's name(the one sitting on the ground) is Rainpelt; and the male's name is Ferntail. Or if you're looking at how far i've written, they're Rainpaw and Fernpaw.

So therefore this is a bit of a spoiler for my fanfic...:D

i sense a new character coming on! So the tiger's supposed to be blue but I drew him in pink because in never sketch in the final colors[dont ask why i dont even know] and anyway cool people DO sketch in pink, am i right?! btw he's a maltese tiger...they really are blue!!
