With a deep sigh, Muffasa collapsed onto the cold, flat surface of the cliff legde. Finally, he was alone.
"Oh Taka..what has happened to you brother." He murmered, gazing out into the lands which would one day be under his rule.

I redid the first pic from this folder. Hope you guys like it! ^^

"Muffy, no..please!" Taka whimpered as he cowered below his brother's paw.
"Fight back Taka! Show father what you can do!" Mufasa insisted. But as Taka took a feeble swipe at his brother, Mufasa's eyes shadowed and he unleased his rage.

"Very good my son." Ahadi commented from the sidelines. "Very good."

"My dear Zira, remember me? It's been a long time."
"Max?" The word came out in a low growl as she swung towards the dark male. "How dare you show yourself here! If Scar were to find you he'd-"
"He'd what?" Maxwell chuckled maliciously. "We both know I could defeat him."
"No." Zira frowned stubbornly and spung away. "You better leave, or-"
"But I've come to see you, Zira. I've missed you."

Following the tragic slaughter of the ruling king, young Muffasa, the heir to all the lands stretching as far as the horizons, slowly ascended upon the great rock - taking his place, as the new king.

Done on my second day of Work Experience, it wasn't a good day at all, stuck doing paperwork or just being ignored - but my head of year came round to visit so at least I got cheered up for a bit.

The wild-hearted Angie looking up into the molten eyes of the familiar-stranger.
"Do you...remember me?" He smiled shyly.
A flurry of unfamiliar emotions were stirring inside Angie, she averted her eyes from that intense gaze.
Sensing the growing silence, the stranger spoke again. "So..you and Scar eh? How's that going?" He asked, lowering his great head slightly.
"I remember." Was all the lioness replied with in a breath.
He blinked, and waited.
"Carlos, you're back." Angie did not understand her excitement over this, so she tilted her head and nuzzled him.
"You remember.." Was all Carlos breathed in reply.

"Wait up Muff." Shani replied through gritted teeth. "We really shouldn't be round here..." She fretted.
"Where's your sense of adventure?" Muffy laughed ligtly. "There's no danger here."

"And just think about it Mufs, when you're kind you can change all that 'Betroved' muck. But come on, do you really think Angie's THAT bad?!"
"Shinny, she loves Scar, we both know that." Muffasa sighed.
"And you love Sarabi." Shinny mused. He shook his head, "Least I've got my girl right beside me." He smiled.
Shani rolled her eyes. "Keep on dreamin' Shin." She laughed.
Muffasa smiled sadly.

Was listeing to "Something There" On the Beauty And The Beast soundtrack, and just got the inspiration for this pic from it.

"Scar, it's okay, it will all be fine. I love you." Angie smiled slightly, she sighed as his silent response. Scar's heart belonged securely to another, and it was killing her to know this.
"I'm sorry about Max, I didn't want him to hurt you." She closed with, getting off him.

"H..He just turned his back on me.. for HER!" Zira sobbed.
Maxwell studied the young lioness carefully, becoming deep in thought, pitying the lioness. But his thoughts were interuppted as Zira uttered an unexpected name.
"That..ANGIE!" She snarled fiercly.
"Angie?" Maxwell repeated softly, "My sister..Angie?" He questioned.
Suddenly a spark came to the lioness' eyes, she compressed a smirk. "Yes, indeed. And after all you've done for him too..now he's snuggling up with your sister.." She stirred, watching the dark male closely for a reaction.
Suddenly, she knew how to get her own back on that little Scar-stealer.

"I just don't understand it..what have I done?" Scar sighed, "Anything I do..it's just never good enough." He shook his head and stared at the stone floor.
"Shhh..it's not your fault Scar. It's your idiot brother's!" Angie insisted, dipping her head to place it under Scar's scruffy muzzle and gently nuzzling him.

Neither of the almost-lovers noticed the younger adolescent lioness creeping out of the shadows. Zira gulped back a sob and turned away from the pair. Anger seeping through her every pore. She loved Scar, and that little chocolate-coloured lioness was going to pay.

"If you EVER go near Sarabi again I will kill you, without a second of thought." Mufasa growled, low and threateningly in Maxwell's defiant face.

Maxwell's assignment concerning Sarabi had not turned out quite as planned, and he cursed himself for not realizing that wherever that longed-for tan-lioness strode.. her love-struck Prince would not be far behind.

"...And THEN dad showed me all of the Pride-lands, even where the sun sinks behind the land!" Mufasa gloated proudly, unthinking of the rejection his brother, Taka, may experience from hearing his tale.

"Um..Mufasa, maybe you should..stop." Shinnupa, a well liked cub who belonged to a neighbouring pride which was visiting whilst a famine scorched their lands, said.

Angie sighed and rolled her eyes, knowing that her and her brother -who was currently raging- would hear ALL about this from Taka later.

"I know Ta-Scar, but leave Sarabi to me." Maxwell insisted, knowing his sister was protective of the straight-talking tanned female.
"I trust you." Scar admitted, although such a confession pained him. Trust was what landed him in such a situation. Trust in family.

Muffasa watched silently as Ahadi scolded Taka, "Your evil, i know your plot, you want to kill me! your a cursed child and i do this to you because i love you, pain will cleanse you!"
He suddenly noticed the scars on Taka's left front paw. Their father had hit Taka before,but this time was different, Taka hadn't done anything,he couldn't have,he's just awoken The first signs of Ahadi's sickness.This is when scar turns against his brother.he thinks muffy has been telling lies about him.

I BELIEVE THAT MABEY, AHADI WAS ABUSIVE TOWARDS URU/RIMA AND SO TAUGHT MUFFY TO BE LIKE THAT TOWARD SCAR, MUFFY DIDN'T WANT TO HURT SCAR, BUT TO MAKE HIS FATHER PROUD.
