MERRY CHRISTMAS, GOD JUL - or however you say it - to y'all!!!

Last year I didn't make a X-mas card for all my fellow members here at TLKFAA, but decided now was the time to make unmade things done. So here you go; a "christmassy" message for 2007, signed miss_lizzy.

It portrays Simba, holding a big, juicy Christmas ham (garnished with mustard, just like the old Swedish tradition says) in his jaws. And Pumbaa, who doesn't feel all too excited about the situation...

It's been awhile since last time I uploaded some TLK canon art here at the archive, so it was time now to break that trend.

Hope you like this, folks, and I hope you'll all have a great Christmas and ending of 2007!

This is a request pic Rarsa asked me to do some time ago (a quite long time ago, actually lol).
She wanted me to draw something from her book "Max - the little beast". So I decided to do the scene where Max and his horse friend Buster first meat.
As you can see I've been playing around here with the colouring; wanted to try something new. I've still got a lot to learn about this specific technique, but it was pretty funny to do.

Contests

It's my character Blue, who's mean enough to push the stop button in the escalator while Deuce's in it^^
...Ooh, poor feller...

This idea was the first thing that crossed my mind when I read the contest rules, so I decided to give it a go.

Fanart

- yes, this IS on-topic art; Kiara's in it -

Here's a comic fanart sorta thing, dedicated to the Australian hospital drama "All Saints".
The scene is taken from episode 9 (I think) this year, where ambos Cate and Heath visit a neglected little girl, named Kiara.

...and that's were I got the idea from: I decided to turn AS Kiara into TLK Kiara, which resulted in this traditional black&white comic strip.

This is Donna and Justin lionized, in a scene from my favoruite TV show Young Lions; an Australian drama/crime serie.
I'm writing a fanfic about this particular storyline, so I thought it would be nice to draw some illustrations to it, as well.

Character sheets

I decided I really had to make a proper picture of my fursona, Lizzy. I think I’ve portrayed her only once in a pic I did about a year ago, so now it’s about time for an update! I mean, some of you guys maybe don’t even know who she is:P

So here you have her, my lizard-like fursona!!
And as you all can see, I made a character sheet out of it too (those are always good to have, gotta make some for my other characters, as well)

A few things to know about Lizzy’s design:
*To make her look a bit like me, she’s got the same eye colour as I do…
*…the same with her hair; it matches mine. But it might change from time to time, depending on my hair dying (<-sp?) habit. But at the moment, it’s brown.

Yyyes!! It's finally DONE!! (yes, I KNOW I haven't been uploading a pic for about 2-3months now :P)

This, ladies and gentlemen, is...*drumroll*... A GROUP PICTURE OF ALL THE SUPPORTERS IN DELUGE'S PRIDE!!XD

From left to right: Zander (belongs to Deluge himself), Dixi (she's mine!), Drew (Drew) and Rashkah (Rashkah).
Hmm...they seem to be chatting and aruging with each other...AND TALKING BEHIND OTHER'S BACKS!! (seems like we have to teach our characters how to behave, guys..lol)

Note: No harm to anyone or anything in this picture. I just wrote the lines to make something fun out of it=)

Sketcher

LOL, just a pic of a weird, olive green-coloured, singing lioness I made in Sketcher (I'm NOT good at sketcher, that's a fact!)
Anyways, she's singing "Kyrie" some latin piece of music stuff by Mozart that we're singing in my choir at the moment. To be honest with you guys, I hate that song!!! So boooring...
But it'll be over soon, I just have to keep my spirits up a little longer:P

I kind of liked the design of this little girl, so I guess I'll put her up in the TT as an adoption. If you want her, just draw me a pic of her.

Look! I'm back with a new pic!! (I'm quite lazy, I know:P)

This is Blue trying to comfort Safir, who's sad for some reason (don't know which).
As you can see I've been trying to use a different type of shading on this picture. What do you think of it, comparing to my previous pics? Well, at least I'm satisfied with the result=)

(Oh, and do you have any shading tips or something you wanna share with me? Just wondering)

Sketcher

Sketcher was really screwed up when I drawed this pic, it got disconnected all the time...
Anyway, I wanted to draw something non-TLK stuff, so it turned out in a zebra and some sort of african wilddog (at least it seems like someone liked the zebra:P)
Hopefully more to see of these two guys, I like them!!

Icons & Adoptables

At first this was supposed to just be a pic of a very angry Blue (that's why the design looks like it does), but then I thought than it would be much funnier to make an icon of it - my FIRST icon too:D
So here it is, my first icon, a maaad lion, with or without hairtuft. I've made Blue and Dixi as the examples of the two different styles.

Sketcher

this is a collab I did with FallOutBoyFan13 in sketcher (the wolf on the left belongs to her)
myself I did sort of a pirate lion (Pirates of the Caribbean rocks, just so u know!!)...uh, or something...LOL, I'm quite new on scetcher, so my pics aren't that good yet...

This is an art trade picture for Dragon Dancer. It's her mouse-hating character Sequoia who shows Dixi how to make a DELICIOUS mouse cocktail (Dixi looks quite sceptic about it, though)

when I almost was done with this picture, photoshop freaked out, and suddenly I couldn't open my picture anymore, so I had to draw everything again...*deep sigh*
but now it's finally done, my first TABLET pic!! I<3my tablet, it's much more easier to draw:)

Another card picture of mine!! This one I made for my cousin, who took a kind of examination, in Sweden called "studenten". and when I would put it here at the archive, I changed her name into another one, so now is this card dedicated to all of you examination people out there: "Congratulations on your examinations, everybody!!!"
(Myself, I have to wait two years for mine...)

by the way, I also tried to shade this picture, and I would love to hear some tip/criticism/comments from you guys

sorry that it took such a long time, but now this picture it's finally done!! (hate filling in the lineart)
anyway, I decided that I had to practice with drawing lion noses, that was kind of my weak part. and then it all ended up with this pic, and I must say that I'm quite pleased with the result (both the nose-thing and the whole picture-thing)
and according to the lizard-like creature in the corner: I guess that's kind of becoming my fursona from now on. hope you like it!!:)

at last, it's done! yeahh!! you see, I saved this picture wrong, so my lineart-layer disappeared, so I had to do the whole shit AGAIN!! aaaahhh! I got maaad!! but it turned out good, don't you think?
anyway, it's Dixi and some unknown cub looking at fireworks or something, well actually I don't know what those star-shaped things are supposed to be, I just put them there because I thought it looked nice:P

I really like the outlanders, especially Zira. I love her song, "My lullaby"!! such power!! (it's better in the swedish version though, "Det är min musik")
talking about songs, I think that "Bitch" kinda suits her quite well, don't you think?? haha!!:D
