I'm happy to say goodbye to it, it's been a frightfully revolting year.
Now.
Kovu and Simba are very much the same - both growing up without the legendary father, both sons of Kings. However, Simba runs from his past while Kovu does not. I think Simba sees this in Kovu and hates him, moreso for Kovu being what Simba could not.
Don't tell me Scar isn't Kovu's father. Everything that was in Scar is in Kovu, just manifests into a different output.
I maintain that Nala is Kovu's mother. He's kind, gentle, but certainly stands up for what he believes in! That explains why Nala doesn't say much in SP - she's too scarred. This is her son and daughter in love, but what can she do?

Those of you who frequent Lilymud will know this story.
My dog has acute kidney failure. She has lost the function of 70% of her kidneys and is hospitalised at the moment.
I can't imagine life without her...and her prognosis is not looking good at the minute. She's up and down...happy to see me when I go in and be with her, and she swings from urinating to not urinating, which is so difficult. If she doesn't urinate, it will probably mean she will have lost the use of her kidneys and will need to be put down.
She is my everything, my little mate. She's in pain, vomiting and unable to urinate. I don't know how I can bear it much longer, either. If you could, spare a thought or prayer or two for my dog, please.

Ahem.
I'd like to call to your attention the marvellous, amazing, sublime work of art the you are about to witness was drawn by my amazing sublime girlfriend. Who is 17.
I politely informed her that I was drawing houses with chimneys and smiley-faced suns when I was five, but she has told me that because she blurred the smoke on the chinmey, it's okay to be drawing such things at 17.
Ahem.

After a few arguments about whether Kah has brown hair and a black body with white legs, we soon came to the compromise that Amase has a brownish body and a white head.

My girlfriend likes my drawings but likes interesting poses. I saw someone draw Kovu in a similar pose to this and thought...why not?

For Timitu, the runner and organiser of the Lilymud Secret Santa. Cripes...this girl ran One-Hundred and Twenty One worth of pictures from inside a doghouse in the freezing cold. It would be a shame for everyone who recieved a picture this year if they didn't thank you in some way, Timi! I'm sorry it's not as amazing as I could make it...but I made it into an avatar in case you wanted to use it :P It has "Nora...Secret Santa Queen" on it in the avvy form :) Just let me know if you want it and I'll email it over!

I also was asked to draw another Secret Santa picture for Junee because her original drawer had to go to hospital :( I don't know whoever they were, but merry Christmas to them and I hope they get better soon.
So this is her character giving his presents to the world! Yay! This was fun to do, I liked it :)

My Secret Santa at Lilymud was Jhale, this year :) It's a great thing to do, to bring a bit of happiness, yay!
I couldn't decide whether to do a religeous theme or a western theme...so I thought I'd mix a bit of the two. Here is Jhale's character witnessing the great Star of the lord, whilst she has brought along her presents for her friends :)

One of the fads I never really got into was the enlarged fluffy breasts that a lot of artists seem to use. Although I quite like the look of the fluffy boobs, and they are very apt for Amase (cos she has them!!) I don't think she'll keep them :D Maybe once or twice....heh...

So...Amase presents you with her new...er...aquisitions :D

I hate this picture.
It's only up because it's the only good colour ref of Amase yet, but as soon as I draw another one, it'll be replaced. It's gross. The anatomy is bad, the face doesn't even LOOK like her, and the anatomy is bad. Plus the bad anatomy.

EDIT: The last few days have been much better than I could have imagined. It's surprisingly easy to remain positive. For those of you who aren't aware what exactly I have, I have Hodgkins Lymphoma - the same cancer as Delta Goodrem had. It' quite cureable, over 80% of patients are cured. It's still rather scary, but I'm trying to stay positive. So I replaced the sketch with something that I like much better. I think poor Amase has a harder time than me dealing with it all :(

Kourukon is one of my many best friends on the archive, so it was a great pleasure to draw this for her!
I loved Kouru's cheetah version of her fursona so I drew this sketch which I think is cuter by itself, and also a little jungle scenario with Simba and Talik. Currently, the sketch of Simba and Talik is being refined...so here's just a little part for you, Kouru :)

Sometimes, when I'm sad, I can produce the most lovely things, things that even I'm proud of. I draw a lot that I do not post, and very rarely I draw a sketch that I find so lovely, I can't bear to touch it. This is the first of these two recent sketches that I couldn't bear to touch...Kah just seems so peaceful and happy here. Somehow my colouring seems as if it would ruin it. There is something fragile about this sketch.

Basically...my health isn't well. I've had to have several scans in the last few weeks, and more blood tests that I've ever had in my life in the last few weeks. It's difficult to keep smiling.
I'm in pain every day, but I must keep a happy face for my students, althuogh their exams are finished (with excellent marks, may I add) now, and it's horrible, really...

We can't be with each other because I'm a teacher, but we still love each other in our hearts. Not too long to go now..she's in her final year of school *sighs* Only eight months :)

EDIT: for those of you who didn't realise, yes, this is a joke at the "OMG I HAVE 7,000 FANS THANK U SO MUCH!!"
I hate it very much when I see it...it's nothing more than boasting. Thanking is fine, but it's perfectly able to thank without showing the number :)

King Darien :)

For those of you who patrol my gallery, and who also read my stories, be aware that I will put up red herrings, cos that's just what I do :D
This having been said, Darien does not live to be an adult :( but this is him as he would have been :D
He looks nothing like the son of Vitani....or Kota, for that matter. His looks come from both of his grandparents :D

I normally roleplay only one character per roleplay, and this chap is made for a roleplay with Phoenixgigs! Hooray! Just a little colour chart :)
Kincaid (my main roleplaying lioness) is his daughter.
He's shown here younger than his appearance in Pho's roleplay....I just thought it was the cutest sketch of him.
No shading cos of the colour chartness XD

I upload again! Hooray!
This was a request from a lovely lady who emailed me asking for a picture of Kota, Darien and Tani enjoying a family sunset on the top of Pride Rock. I liked the lineart so much that I thought I'd just upload it like this :)
A note on Vitani's colour, I didn't use the colour from the film, I thought that after a few months of decent food in the Pridelands plus some Kota-lovin', her coat would lighten up to be a lovely honey colour :)

MizzKitty drew this picture a LOOOONG time ago and I asked if I could colour it. It was probably close to a year ago :D
It was fun colouring something that was so unbelievably different from my style. I tried new things with shading and I really like the result :)

Although Kagal, who is the name for my other self, would not be wearing glasses in the local Prideland waterhole :D
This is me, and me. I luff Kagal. Kahllynn and Kagalion were names in a book I wrote, Neopets and also part of myself, long before they were lions :) Kagal is just Kagal though. Picture her as being quite tomboyish. Hanging with the guys. She's confident, interesting and always up for a laugh...rather like myself :)

Tanahi and Ronan, Toraz and Kincaid's cubs! Tanahi is the top lighter brown one, he's mine design, and Ronan is Toraz's designed cub! He's such an awesome design, it was awesome fun colouring him!

Although Kahllynn is my fursona, and will always be, he doesn't exactly look like me :) I don't have white skin, nor black hair.
I sat down and thought about creating a fursona who was me in looks, as Kah is in mind.
This lioness was created to look like me, and the things and markings that I like best. Just ask me a question of any of the markings, scars, colours if you want to know more :)
And yes, I do have grey eyes ;)
