Uploading just a teeny something because I have decided to open some REALLLLLY cheap commissions...(new job not working out so well :S)
I can do con badges (laminated and the neck strap supplied or not, your choice), your feline characters, some canine characters and I'm happy to have a bash at whatever you'd like...
$5 for full background, $2 for just the characters, like this one. $5 for con badges without the strap, $7 with.

Kiara pouted. "It's not fair! Why can't I see Kovu? You wouldn't know what it was like, Mother!"
Kopa frowned at her. "Beat it, kid," he growled.
Kiara continued, oblivious to her older brother's warning. "YOU had playmates when you were younger! You have no idea what it's like!"
Nala shot to attention and glared at her daughter through a huntress's eyes. "You're right, my dear," she snarled. "My friends were murdered in front of my own eyes. So was my mother. The King took me prisoner and every day had his way with me until I had to run away or face insanity. But yes, I did have playmates. So I mustn't know what you're going through."

I've been heavily inspired by my dear friend Kourukon's work of Simba and Kopa,
(KingsPrideRemake.jpg) and I thought I'd try to create the same sort of thing, only a generation before :)

Kahllynn and Amase's son :P Now named Tariq, from an absolutely amazing book called "A Thousand Splendid Suns"....just a fantastic book!!
It suits him...the Tariq in the book was noble and proud and intelligent. I liked him much.

Kah and Amase's yet-unnamed progeny...leaping outta here :(
Sadly, I think it has come that time for me to make my exit. This has been a fantastic place and I have enjoyed every stroke of my mouse/tablet/scanner. But I never drew just me, I drew for the friendship and community moreso than just for me.
I don't know if more of my friends have left as well or if I've just become forgotten, but I think it's time I did head on out and over to DeviantArt...

New Char alert!! The brown male is Kahllynn and Amase's son...and his girlfriend is with him :) They'll probably go up in my story, if ever I decide to finish it.
I need some help with names for both of them though...throw me a name and if I use it, I'll draw you something nice :)

My half of a trade with Turto :) I had several pictures sketched out for these guys, but this was the only one that worked :( It turned out kinda nicely, though :)

I needed a new desktop :)
This was drawn to p!nk's song - "I Don't Believe You"...I feel pretty hurt and sad at the moment. I've been moved on to a different store (I work at McDonalds) and I've been promoted, but in doing so, I've left behind all of my dear, dear crew at the other store. It was the last day with my absolute favourite and most adored guy today...and I just feel broken hearted. I love him like a brother, I will just miss him so much! I know, I know, I'll be able to see him when I visit. But I simply can't get there very often. And it'll never be the same. My heart is just broken :(

This is an art trade for Siren...I must say, I'm totally in love with this little girl...I'm not usually for bright, unnatural colours, but I just like her :P
I checked Siren's gallery and looked at her own chars and drawings, and read that she likes natural colours with crazy hair, and I hope she'll be happy with this gal!
You can name her, and feel free to change anything at all about her!
It was fun to trade :D She was great fun to draw...and for some reason reminds me of the chick from pokemon? The baddie one?

Just thought I'd play around with a prettier style for my boy :) I REALLY like this one, but I don't know if I'll keep it :) I'd like to be able to shade like Dille and Kydee, especially, with that beautiful purple haze... any tips, anyone?!

Kiara and Kovu spend time with their little one on a sunny day :)
Kovu turned out rather Kourukon-ish, I think! Something about his legs, face.
Kiara...as much as I don't like her, reminds me a lot of Sarabi. I think she'll grow up to be that sort of graceful, wise Queen when she's not a teenager anymore :P
And the kid? Well...if anyone wants him they can have him!
Please crit this picture- it's bugging me and I don't know why!!!

I'm BACK!
Kovu peered up at the older lion. As the threat of outlanders drew nearer, he began to think of how Simba felt.
"You can count on me, Simba." he stated.
The older King said nothing, just continued to stare out over the horizon.
Kovu tried again. "Have you ever defended your kingdom?"
Simba said nothing for a long time. Then he lifted his voice softly, still staring out over the lands.
"It was when you were young. Your mother drew everyone in to claim this Kingdom. It was the first time. She underestimated my Pride. But in the last few moments, right before our eyes, she killed Kopa. We managed to save Kiara. But Kopa never lived past that day. Now ready yourself. Here they come. IT is our day to fight..."

As Rafiki studied King Simba's son, he shook his head, sadly. Mufasa and Simba were light, golden lions, but those days were gone, now. With Prince Kopa's ceremony, he would be pronounced Crown Prince. He would be set to rule the Pridelands in another season or two.
But Rafiki had other ideas.
His own spirits had revealed the true nature of the young Prince, and Rafiki wasn't happy with the way things were working out. Kopa was growing. He was strong and powerful. Harsh. Unjust and bullying.
No, Rafiki was going to have to get rid of him, to protect the Pride. The Queen was pregnant again, and the new child would be the heir of Pride Rock.

"They've been teasing me, Mum," snarled Kopa, his tail lashing in the moonlight.
"When I'm King I'm gonna run them out of my Pridelands..."
Nala smiled underneath her son's paw. The first few hairs on his head were starting to come out, a rich russety red, like his father. Nala recognised also in the boy the sly undertones and selfish nature of Scar, and was careful to teach him carefully the true nature of a King.
As it turned out, she needn't have worried...Kopa was gone the next morning, without a trace. Although Zira was blamed, Nala was not sure who the real culprit was...

Kahllynn looks amazingly off-model but I do LOVE Amase...she looks every bit as sweet and kind as I mean her to be.
Kah's body pose is wrong, and I asked for help in Lilymud, but I couldn't help but colour this one anyway :)
So...no critiques, which is rare for me, but I've poured heart and soul into this and I love it <3

At the tip of Pride Rock, Kiara and Vitani embraced lovingly, happy to not be apart anymore.
"How did the conference go?" questioned Vitani.
Kiara smiled softly.
"My brother was amazed to see a Pride with two Queens that were harmonious and living well. Of course, having Daddy and Kovu here helps. Yes, everyone has adjusted well."
Suddenly Kiara noticed the faint lines marking Vitani's left eyebrow.
"What happened to your face?" she questioned.

Vitani smiled warmly at her mate, drinking in the sight of her.
"The sun will next rise with you as the new Queen," she whispered softly.
"With us," corrected the golden lioness, the daughter of the King, the Queen-to-be.

Vitani remembered the day she had first sighted the Princess. She was unlike anything she had ever seen before. Gentle. Kind. Welcoming. No females in Vitani's pride possessed any of these traits, and so the young lioness's natural curiosity bloomed into a natural, affectionate love for the other.
"We'd better go," she smiled, without moving. "Your father will be waiting for us."

I've reuploaded this with some more changes to it, it's my absolute FAVOURITE picture I think I've ever made, and yay, it's canon! So happy!!!!1!1!!one!!

Question: If Mufasa had have lived and Simba had have been the exact same King he was in SP, do you think Mufasa would have been proud of him?
I think Muffy would have loved Simba no matte what, but disapproved of his decisions...

Kota in Sketchland :P I'm SORTOF getting the hang of this thing...but it's still very time consuming and difficult. And colouring takes such a long time! But I've already realised the much wider range of things that I can do - I hope that in time I'll be able to produce some really nice, detailed backgrounds instead of this lovely scribble :)
