Oh boy...lots of mistakes in this one. It goes left-to-right from the top left hand panel, and repeats during every strip. (OF WHICH THERE ARE THREE...that was a Eddie Izzard reference if no one caught it.)

BUT. I likes it because I think it helps illustrate that characters are different under different circumstances.

YES. That is Nuka. YES. That is Kovu. NO. That is not Banzai, Ed, or Shenzi. That hyena is my own creation, and his clan is too.

Tanabi: The King Henry VIII of the Pride Lands. Thinking his chosen mate in the jungle was unfit for him, he abandoned her, talking Nala into going back to the Pride Lands with him to claim the throne. He wreaks tyranny and havoc upon the lands, never caring about anything but his own benefit.

Daudi/Nuka: The Chosen Heir to the throne. After the brutal murder of his parents, he has been consumed with hatred for his close relatives, Nala, Tanabi and their get. Under Ukue's training, he vows to seek vengence.

Thus...the story begins.
