Hakima and Thembai's cubs are plotting some mischief. But The more sensible of the pair is worried about their wiley aunt...his brother doesn't seem to concerned.

Ukue's shock was short lived. Pain, confusion, and sorrow twisted at her face, exaggerating her features. Blood trickled from her nose and mouth. Soon she would fall to the sun drying earth, dead, and Lupa wouldn't worry about the lioness waking to seek out vengence.
"B-but...Lupa...why...?" she rasped, her words garbled by the poison that was turning her to nothing but a carcass. "We're...I'm your si-sister...! How could you...?"
"It had to be done, Ukue," Lupa insisted calmly. "I am sorry. But he was not the son you thought he was...not the nephew I hoped to let live."


This doesn't actually happen in Ukue's story, but I thought it would be interesting. 8D

Ukue: Hey Lupa, look! I'm KING of the rock!
Lupa: You can't be king, dad's king! ...and besides, you'r a girl!
Ukue: So? I'm still king! Wanna fight about it?!
Lupa: If you think you're 'king' enough!


Part of a written collab between TheSingingPrestwood and I. :3 It makes sense, since Lupa and Ukue are both Scar's daughters.
