Did anyone else hear about Annie Hyena's latest contest, turning a picture from a search engine of a lion into a TLK version? Well I tried that but I made mine too realistic and went on an insane realism kick.

Shorty suffered the brunt of it. XD Been working a lot on this series guys, hope y'all are looking forward to it!

An exclusive TLKFAA only picture. Haven't posted this one on dA, I think...hmm.

Anyhoot. For those of you who haven't clicked on my original characters, Nedia is the one on the right, the one on the left is Izula. They're both in a Lion Research Facility that hosts fights. Alot like dog fights.

Izula's mate somehow got into Nedia's enclosure and they somehow have a cub. That's who Izula's talking about. Because she's jealous and paranoid.

"I don't understand, Nedia," Shorty said. He looked at her with a confused expression on his face, curling his lip slightly. "I told you I'm sorry and I mean it. Why can't I be kind to you anymore?"
Nedia looked away, her head aching viciously. She pulled her lip between her teeth, breathing gone awry. What could she say? She'd been horrible to him, but he had put her through a hell on earth, and then some. There really wasn't anything to say.

Moar on this later. C: You'll understand someday.

Nedia: Hey, if the creepy little monkey can do it, why not a lioness who can speak human?

I thought it would be interesting to personalize Nedia even further and make her into an artist. It will make her stand out even more, though she doesn't often show off her talent to the lions and lionesses in the facility.

Anyone else notice something familiar about this picture? =P

The King of the second enclosure. Sefu's oldest son and his weakest. Has no cubs to speak of and has only fought once with another male. Otherwise, the females in his enclosure beat him up.

I don't have a name for him, eithe! 8D

The King of the first enclosure. Besides ol' Sefu, this mean looking guy is the oldest lion in the facility. He's Shorty's half brother, though when Shorty was first born he thought he was Shorty's daddy. D: Weird huh?

ANY IDEAS FOR A NAME FOR THIS GUY?

Shorty/Hizwe is Izula's mate and a new friend of Nedia's. Unfortunately for them both, their friendship causes quite a scandal, due to Izula's jealous suspiscions that Nedia has a thing for Shorty and that he secretly returns these feelings for her.

....which is true, but what she doesn't know won't hurt her. C;

Here's the gal that was created for me on the TT by Foxcraft. In Nedia's story, she represents the exact opposite of Nedia's world: the grass may seem greener under Izula's paws, but her world is far from fruitful. I'm quite enjoying my little plot. C:

Imani is Nedia's nephew. He is captured and put into a different enclosure, but Nedia manages somehow to get hin into her own so she can raise him. He grows up to be quite the gentleman. C:

When Nedia was a cub, her brother, Ayubu, once told her that he wouldn't always be there to protect her. Being the only two surviving children born from their parents, who were dead, Ayubu was Nedia's sole protector.

This picture is very reminiscent of Mufasa telling Simba about the Great Kings. C: Hope you guys enjoy!

BTW, Ayubu means preserverence or patience in suffering. C:
