NEWS FLASH Alright kiddies, I know I haven't been very active lately, but school and work is eating up my schedule. I've got a few things planned right now so I'll just list them real quick.

Ukue's Story:
Current Projects...
Revamp

I'm in the process of revamping Abari, my fictional father of Kovu and Vitani. He's going to look a lot more like his mother and father, and a bit like Vitani, too. I really like his old design, but for genetic and aestetically pleasing purposes, I'm going to give him a few tweaks.

100 Artist Project

This is a personal project for the series about Ukue. It will start out with Ukue AND Thembai as the main characters, but eventually it will be all about Ukue. I really feel like I need to do something that will get the backbone of her story written in stone, and this seems like a good place to start!

Reference Sheets

I'm still working on the reference sheets for Bandayo and Oyadnab, Ukue's two main rivals for most of her life from cubhood to sub-adulthood. I'll also be creating a few non-lion characters, a cheetah and a leopard, the latter of which will be featured in Sefu's Mark. On the subject of that comic....

Reboot! Sefu's Mark

Well as some of you know, I've been working on a personal comic project for sometime about a strangely marked lioness who gets caught in a ring of 'caged fights.' (Caged fights are my version of the animal versus. It's basically caged hunts only the animals are killing each other for sport, not the humans.) Well currently I'm redoing the introduction, which is proving to be hard work.

Guide: Dark purple=first generation/heir to the throne, or this signifies a betrothal set up during the heir's birth.
Light Purple= Any generation after the first between a royal couple that could possibly become the rulers in the event of the heir's death/revokation of their station.
Bi-colored Lines= The mating of two adults who choose to mate with one another.
Single Colored Lines= Forced matings, or the matings where one partner gave specific consent, but the other did not have the opportunity or it was never officially given.

It's strange how the course of one individual's life can affect the lives of a dozen, maybe a hundred others.
"Who are you?!" she snapped, and felt her heart stop for one beat when Scar's own eyes glowered at her, back from the dead. But...no. That couldn't be. She had watched his body be picked off by buzzards after Simba's coronation. Then she recognized him, the pale blond mane and the even paler pelt. "Mheetu....Mheetu! How good it is to see you...alive."
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip you apart," he said quietly, hardly a growl escaping his aggressively poised muzzle.
