i think Sarabi's colours are slightly off, but apart from that it turned out alright I think.
No shading again though.

Well, I thought it was about time I uploaded something, and at the same time I decided to try and refurbish my style slightly.
Muffy got the experimental treatment. (I used an old sketch as the base, I may well have uploaded a similar picture before).
Anyhoo, thanks to Kourukon's rather nifty Pen Tool tutorial, I managed to smooth out my lineart, which was my main problem.

So here's the result - I'd love to know what you guys think ^^

Gosh, finally I'm back uploading again!

Well, this is my version of Ahadi - just a mix of Muffy and Scar really.
And I guess there has to be some reason why Scar resents Muffy being the king, so.. I guess this could be one them. I have no idea how Ahadi treated his cubs - maybe he had a preference for Muffy, or maybe he predicted that Scar was a bad apple.. who knows?

just an idea I had - Muffy is well & truly gone & so Sarabi takes it on herself to remind Simba of the seriousness of his lack of responsibility (i.e leaving the Pridelands to go and party in the jungle with T & P) and how it has affected the lives of the Pridelanders under Scar's rule. We dont see Sarafina at the end of TLK - maybe she didnt survive Scar's rule? & that's part of why Sarabi is angry with Simba, although glad 2 have him back too of course.

... they must've had some argument.. don't really know what about. I am guessing that maybe it was Mufasa who gave Scar his scar... why else would Scar hate him so much? I guess we'll never know....

Nala after the stampede and she thinks Simba is dead. She has lost her best friend, her brother (so to speak), her world.
Goes well with the song "Lala" from Rhythm of the Pridelands.
"My mother's child, my dear brother, I miss you, I cry for you, My dear friend, Farewell, Spiritual healer, I'm troubled, My father, i'm in pain, My dear friend, I miss you," etc etc.
