I'm finally done... xD I've been working on this for an hour, did completely in Paint, no references for Taka or Muffy... My hand's about to fall off, and I'm about to faint from exhaustion. So, good night. <33

Things I don't like about this picture:

-His eyes are too big.
-I wanted to detail his eyes but didn't have time.
-The scar is too big and too pink.
-I ran out of color space so I couldn't get a wider variety of colors to color him with.
-The mouth looks wierd.
-The mane isn't nearly as detailed as I wanted it to be.
-The fur detailing stinks 'cause I rushed to finish it last night.
-The nosen and ears look all crooked.
-I accidentally drew the whiskers with the same color as the mane so now they disappear once they meet the mane.
-I forgot to color above/below Scar's eyes.
-I wanted it to look realistic, but it looks more cartoony.

At least I know what NOT to do next time. xD

But, anyways. Enjoy. :)

He couldn't believe what he had just done. There had been the urges to hunt before, but none as strong as what had just happened. The guilt was ovrewhelming, that he had nearly killed his own friend... by his own claw... and silently, he wondered if this and the death of his own father made him a doomed killer for the rest of his life.

"Simba... I only have one question for you. I won't be angry at your answer, but... Zira told us that you killed Scar. He was your uncle. Did you kill him?" Kovu asked, a little scared.

Simba sighed and turned his head away, memories of the wrteched night burning in his head. "No, Kovu," he said, "I did not kill him. The hyenas did." And so he preceeded to tell Kovu the true story.

Sooo...yeah. For the contest. x3 I think that Scar must have told Zira (before he died) that Simba, not the hyenas, killed him- so Zira thought that Simba killed him and told Kovu and the others that, too.

(LE GASP- Tigger's doing canon! :OOO)

Okie, I know this is basically the same picture as the Mane Event picture I did earlier (to Elton John's version of IJCWTBK), but this has color codes on it for people who work in Paint. I have for EVER been searching on Paint for the right colors for Simba, and I FINALLY found them while working on this picture.

Sooo...

This is for any Paint users who need Simba's colors. Here they are. 8D (The only color that's not there is Simba's tail color, and that's because I used a default Paint color for it. =3)

Oh. My. GOSH. 8D!!!

The Elton John version of "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" is AMAZING!! It's so... rock-and-roll! Almost Elvis-like! xD It just made me wanna put on sunglasses and start rocking! :P

Sooo...

Here's Simba wearing sunglasses and rockin' out to Elton John's version. Laaawwwllll, he's like "8D!!"

Aaanyways, this was UBER fun to draw. <33 And now I'm gonna go listen to that song again! :D (The lyrics are ENTIRELY different, save for the chorus, the Zazu taunting lines, and the "mane event" part.)

Huzzah, that makes TWO pictures in the Canon TLK folder! :D (Two pics out of... 260. 8D) XDD

Anyways, I'm REAL proud of this, seeing as how I did EVERYTHING in Paint (Except for the sunburst), including the shading(which I barely EVER do) and the background. <33

"Just WAIT, Muffy... Pretty soon, all of this will be ours!"
"Actually... Ta- Scar... There's something you should probably know..."

Wow, my first big pic with a background. x_x As you can tell, the background is REALLY bad- I was impatient while doing it and said to heck with fancy photos, I'm winging it on paint. XPP Also, Muffy doesn't look like Muffy, 'cause I couldn't find the right colors on paint and I was tired and again said to heck with it. XDD Anyways, this is the moment, IMO, where Scar's jealousy REALLY takes over his life- when he learns he will not be king. =( Enjoy! <3

I just realized there's a tree with no leaves on it. o_o;

Edit: Thought I might enter this in the current archive-wide contest. =3
