For the contest.
After Simba let the outsiders live with them, Vitani believed that Simba killed her mother. And she had to have blamed him for Nuka's death, also.
She fought him that night.

I really didn't understand why Vitani didn't show any emotion when Zira perished. I mean she was her mother. So i put in this pic that Vitani held a grudge against Simba.
