I know, I haven't uploaded here in many months. Not since my computer has been disconnected and I forgot my username! And I know a 20 second doodle isn't the best way to come back, but since I finally know my password, I figure I should post *something*. This is Khuzaymah. (Random name, random picture). A new lion, Faraji. His colors remind me a little of Rufus, maybe they're related? I made this at midnight last night, because I felt bad for not doing a picture in a week. Unfortunately, Xenogears has consumed my life (once again) so I won't be making too many pictures 'til I finish that.

What if instead of being King Simba of the Pridelands, he was Prince Asad of Agrabah? (Asad means lion in Arabic). For the current art contest, I decided to try Simba as a human (they're animals, right?) and combine that with my favorite Disney movie, Aladdin!

Messed with a screenshot for the background, hope no one minds.

Quick little doodle of a random new character. I haven't made one in a while (too preoccupied with Simba) so here one is. When I was drawing it, my mom came up and said "He looks like a Rufus" so Rufus he shall be.

It's about time I drew one of my own characters! This picture took about 15 layers. It only about took 3 hours to draw (then another hour or two to color and shade) but I'm really proud of it.

It's Ifuifu and Rahima, parents of Devu and Dakhar, nuzzling eachother. I was originally going to make Simba and Nala, or Mufasa and Sarabi, but I really like how this turned out.

Tell me what you think! I think this is my best pic yet.

I'm pulling a Dante and posting my improvement via Simba. My first one, top left, was drawn November 25th, and the last one, bottom right, was drawn a few hours ago. So, January 14th. Wow, I've been doing TLK longer than I thought. The first one's a little better than the next couple because I spent a LOT of time on it. ...my Simbas need more variation. ^^;;

Got a favorite?

Not Another Simba Picture!

My first good picture in quite a while. Simba as a cub and Simba grown up. Actually spent a lot of time shading for once, and I think it shows. Never draw cubs, so he probably looks weird as a cub.

Simba and Nuka have reversed childhoods. It's like trading spouses...but not. Therefore, Simba becomes Nuka and Nuka becomes Mufasa.

Seven hours, twenty-two layers, and three headaches later, I bring you the greatest piece of art I've ever made in my life. If you only ever view one illustration in my entire gallery, make it this one. If you have ANYTHING to say at all about it, say! I'd love to know what you think about my best drawing yet! This is my first ever Nala, and best Simba!

This is a picture of a happy Nala and Simba in love, sleeping on a tree.

I hope this will one day have more faves than Simba/Alafin.

My first attempt (ever) at a background that isn't just...clouds. It looks pretty terrible, but hey, first attempt. And I really don't know too much about Photoshop. This is an older Teen Simba, who happens to be wet and sad about something. Looking right at you!

...do I ever draw non-Simba? XD

Edit: I made it better. Sorry, Kahllynn! All I did was make his outlines colors instead of just black.

I've never seen this angle of the face done before, so I wanted to try it. You never see where the mane connects to the neck, so I just kinda guessed. This picture was a lot of guesswork, but I hope it's an acceptable/original pose! Did all the background myself, of course. Even the rock! =D

Kovu averted his eyes, caught between shock and desperation, not wanting the grand old king to see either in his gaze.

"Kovu," Simba commanded quietly. "Look at me."

Reluctantly, the younger lion turned back to his adopted father.

"Kovu, Iâ€™ve lived a long life. But not only that, it has been a good life. I have seen my land, my pride and my children prosper. And," he added gently, "I know in the future all will be well. Because you will be the new lion king."

This is my end of an art trade with Dante. Took FOREVER. I'm never spending this much time on a drawing AGAIN! I did it in one day, though. ^_^ It's supposed to be Grandpa Simba with grandson Alafin. Alafin is a Dante's son of Kiara and Kovu. It's supposed to be reminiscent of the whole star gazing scene with Simba and Mufasa, and I hope I didn't make Simba look too much like Mufasa.

Edit 12/30 - A few things about this were killing me every time I saw it, so I changed them quickly.

Canon art trade with TUS. I actually spent more than my usual time on the background (so, about 6 minutes this time XD). She wanted Simba and Mufasa, so I did this. I did about 20 sketches, and I hardly liked any of them, but I hope you (Tusford) like this one. Find it in your heart to ignore the fact that he looks like an ape.
