In an alternate TLK universe, Simba didnt run away. He ran home to his mother and told her everything that happened, crying the whole time. Sarabi comforted him and told him it wasnt his fault, but was panicking inside-she knew scar would be coming for the pride soon.

While the other lionesses stalled Scar and the hyenas, she and her friend Araema led the cubs away, trying to find someplace safe.

Malka's pride had been destroyed by a fire the week before. Only he and the small cub, Diaru, who liked to be called Dotty, survived.
He had remembered his friend Simba's pride from when he was a child. He had gone and asked to be accepted into it. But the noble Mufasa was no longer king. In his place was he evil Scar, who turned them away and chased them off. They climbed back up the mountain pass, unsure of where to go.
they would later stumble upon the outlands, a horrible place ruled by Zira. But Malka would die soon after, leaving Dotty all alone in the world.

Mufasa's Pride in TLK comic style ^.^
i took all of the colors directly from the comics, besides mheetu's obviously ^^ i wanted them to look like tlk comic characters, an i think it turned out well, but ugh, getting reference for sarabi was soo hard @.@ there are like NO good drawings of her in the comics xD

Chumvi and Malka.
I did the lines with a pen i found in the car on the way to a friends house. Then I scanned it and colored it on Photoshop
I tried, for once, using the original chumvi instead of my own green eyes fluffy version. ..i like my version better... XD
and umm...i think im getting better at drawing cubs =D i have no clue what they're doin though XD

and I decided to try and draw something similar ^^ but this time its taka and muffy's family <3 i think that taka was younger than Mufasa by a bit :3
oh, and i also sort of mixed kou's versions of them with my own ^^
im sort of happy with this.. i know there are many mistakes but i think its an improvement

i used reference from the movie because ive never really draw hyenas before =o
i need to ask, should i finish this? ive already entered a picture in the contest, but this seems more fitting. i need advice D=

Just a follow up to another one of my drawing with these three.
by the way, the whole time i was drawing this, i felt like id seen something like it before. so if ive accidentally ripped someone off please tell me! XD
oh, and i realized that the little taka clawing onto his daddy's mane looks kind of like one of kari's pictures. O.O sorry about that! XD

hehe i got the idea from drago...
i colored some kovu lineart i drew (reffed from a screenshot) and colored it as a ton of lion king charas xD
i stole a lot of the colors from the one drago did, and the rest i got off of koraden's color sheets, i beleive :3 enjoy @.@

Nala: Yes. I must. My mother died protecting this pride, and if Scar continues to act the way he does, it will have been for nothing. I'm getting help.
Sarabi: Nala, you are too young! I'll go!
Nala: No. The pride needs you. Take care of them.
Sarabi: ...I can see you have already made up your mind...

Well, i had ALMOST convinced my parents to let me go to school... when i fainted. I just suddenly collapsed. Its not really unusual for me, since I have a disease-condition-thing that makes me faint. DX there goes any chance of me getting back to school! oh well.

For the TLKFAA archive wide contest.
Its from Kovu's point of view during the not one of us scene. All of the animals are forcing him out.
I know im probably entering it to late for a chance of getting a good place, but it was so fun to draw I'll enter it anyway.
