1) Intoduction of a new folder "Trash Vault":
I have closed my other non TLK related gallery which were at fanart.nala.ru, the sub-domain is going down now. The gallery here at TLKFA from now on is going to be the one and only gallery of my art. Therefore i need some folder insde of it to upload all the trash and offtopic wich differed the two galleries before. Keep in mind, those pictures mostly are a fail to some extent, of just plain too old, something that i didn't like for various reasons(mistakes and overall poor presentation is the most common).. And also some of them albeit being fine, are offtopic, bear with me X). Check it out, i bet you will find something new. It is also loaded with new comments filled with humor, sarcasm and analysis XD

2) The art of the artist under the nick name Sarafina:
Many of you keep asking me if i died or something and when will i come back and so on.. Sorry to disappoint you fellows, i really am.. Of course i did not die, lol, how could you imagine that? No, i am alive, but the time of Sarafina has come to an end. Lions do not live for long, and this toon has already been quite aged when i started. I take my place in the circle of life, now it is up to YOU to breathe the life into TLK universe. On a less poetic note, i am taking a step towards real life, out of the world of dreams which actually was like a slow poison, a burden, killing me. There most likely will never be more Sarafina's art, don't expect it. Altough everything is possible, i may have an inspiration one day, just don't expect it at any timely future and don't ask me to "come back" if i appear to be missing for long.. Well, that's it folks :) Im not saying "farewell" or something as stupid, not in the i-net anyways where everything is as close as a mouse click as long as you are online.

And the last. I am changing the name of the account. It was quite wrong at the very first time to pick a nick name of a TLK character, even though a backstage meaningless one, it was really a wrong decision which i regret about and humbly ask everyone to forgive me. I hope you are ok with the new one. hehe. XD

3) Commissions and other paid services: If you really want a commission picture, use the email provided in my profile for any further questions. I don't really like doing commissions, but may consider one once in a while, try and make me interested :) Also if you want a really high-res version of a picture or a print, that might be discussed as well. Just keep in mind, it would always take a long time, a few months, to finish one picture and sending prints from russia to whatever country you are from would take additional time and money for the postal service.. I also do not take any obligations of finishing it.

4) The legal usage of artwork, art theft, copyright policy: US copyright law. (i used US, but it is basically all the same across the globe) The direct quotation "Copyright protection subsists, in accordance with this title, in original works of authorship fixed in any tangible medium of expression, now known or later developed, from which they can be perceived, reproduced, or otherwise communicated, either directly or with the aid of a machine or device. Works of authorship include the following categories: (5) pictorial, graphic, and sculptural works;". In the other words, everything that i have drawn is my property as an image and the media file. The fact that i do not charge money for watching the pictures does not mean they are freely distributed. As a rightful owner of all the artwork i request everyone who is willing to use my art in any way other than downloading for private use to ask me for permission first. By default, you are not allowed to copy, outline, modify, redistribute and reference any of the pictures or parts of them. All the actions above will be classified as art theft and threated as a law violation with all the necessary administrative actions.

"Fair use" exception and my art. It may only be considered for intact copies which you are not getting any profit from(including banner system), any modifications, outlinig, referencing and so on are not. For intact copies, you would still cross the border line of my interests, of overall gallery presentation especially, redistribution is explicitly mentioned above my copyright rules which you agreed with by downloading the art. It also fall under category of using the art without asking permission. As slimy as it may be it is still an art theft, and you therefore are a thief.

Special note.. If you would ever dare to use my art in any adult content via modifications or redistribution - i will hunt you down to the end of the earth!!! >.< i consider this a deep personal insult, you wont get away with that.

And the very last, people. have some respect for the author and yourself, have some shame, do not steal art, do not modify it. Most of the art is a piece of inspiration, something that was born in the suffering of creation, with hours and even days of work in summ, which you did not pay for. Be grateful that it is free for you to watch and download..

"Max the zebra intro comic". As i promised, here is a mini-comic, introducing the character himself :) I couldn't fit everything about him in one page though.. There could be something about the inventious mind, the frame with "mane" and fan-flags isn't quite showing that.. Oh well.. It was already a stress, you know, all those horrid stripes XD Jee.. So.. A few guys have asked me if i was inspired by madagaskar-2 for this.. No, i wasn't.. Ive started to work on this picture 3 weeks ago, besides that i don't like the character design and style in M2. It was quite a fun to watch all the Marty clones though. :)
PS: ive changed Max' design since "dummy duty", as a part of character development.

Im re-uploading this picture to keep the gallery structure, altough it is an intro to the trash vault event, it is in fact an all new, not quite sketchy, ontopic picture which is supposed to be in main folder.. And to justify the new name and so on, it has higher resolution now and got a few brush touches.. tailbrush touches.. haha ;D

"Dummy Duty". Well, an illustration to some speculation in IRC, what would happen if Kiara and Kovu would use some kind of wooden dummies to fool out everyone pretending that they are hunting, while actually slacking off of it XD Well, then i came up with this zebra character, Max, as an extra twist. He is not for eatin', obviously, rather a friend of K&K and the inventor of the idea, like, "the lions are happy and the zebras are alive" :D ..Well, at least until the lions are satiated and sleeping, it surely does work ;P ..The picture isnt quite release quality, background especially, but i didnt feel like spending too much time on a joke concept :)

i recently watched Bambi-2 and, man, that Ronno reminds me Scar X) Green eyes, dark brownish-red fur, evil character.. Also the moment "who are you" sounded so like Nala's, i wonder if some TLK influence was in bambi-2 team's mind or it's just me, crazy fan XD

So, i had a nightmare about "lion graveyard". It is a large grass field, surrounded by enchanted stones, with an old tree in the center of it, the tree has a dense foliage and fading branches, i knew how it was supposed to look - a peaceful place with high green grass and flowers.. The stones keep various flesh defilers away from it, but the grass-eating animals roam free there(they don't like the place much though)... You can see how it was looking like in my nightmare X) Oh well, it happens..
