Simba and Nala as The Doctor and Rose from Doctor Who for the cosplay contest. It said cosplay could be cartoon characters and they're making a cartoon series of Doctor Who so I figured it would count ^_^

I had fun with this! But at the same time, I don't know if I like it. I'm not satisfied with my art. Is my shading wacky? Do my characters fit with the background? Or maybe my style just doesn't look good> :| I dunno. Hope you like though.

Kiara could care less what he said, she was just happy to have another cub to talk to, even if he seemed a little arrogant. Being an only cub in the whole pride was boring, and having a bird, meerkat or warthog hang out with you all day, by her dad's command, was just as boring.

Ever noticed Kiara is the only cub in the whole pride? o_O I guess Simba is a better husband than Mufasa lol

Mufasa, Taka, Ahadi, and Zuzu :)

Some people think Ahadi was the mean dad that scarred Taka. I think Ahadi was a good father, not mean. I just think he was the kind of "you see that? That's my boy!" father. I think he was sooo proud of Mufasa, and that's what made Taka jealous. Cause like, if Ahadi were a bad parent, then Muffy would be kinda mean also, ya know? X)

Everyone needs to be lazy every once in a while. lol This started out as just Vitani and Kovu but I just couldn't stop there lol I'm really happy with how Kovu turned out! Let me know what you think!
Oh and I'm sure in wasn't sunset in the outlands every single second of the day, so i added more brownish tones instead of that red you see all the time.

Did this some time ago. Drawing Scar is kind of like seeing how far I've come. My very first picture on here was Scar, then a couple years later I drew a 'then and now' pic. So now I drew him again. :) No that's not Nala, it's just a random lioness. I figured I'd upload it to celebrate canon day :) I would draw more, but I've been sick for a couple of weeks with pneumonia and am just now getting to where I can walk around. But anyways...voila. oh and I DEF need to practice drawing hyenas lol

...For me it is a deep personal loss. So it is with a heavy heart that I assume the throne. Yet, out of the ashes of this tragedy, we shall rise to greet the dawning of a new era...in which lion and hyena come together, in a great and glorious future! Haven't uploaded here in forever but I saw the contest and thought I would take a swing at it. He may not have been a good leader to the pride but the hyenas sure got a kick out of it! :3

Kovu and Vitani down by the river bank trying to find their mother's body to pay their respects. I think even though their mother was evil, still come on, it's their mom. I'm sure they still love her and miss her. Anyways, tell me what you think! I made Kovu look weird here XD I tried that one shading style I'm wanting to learn really well. Crit is welcome :)

Today in school I was feelin so horrible. I was in a lot of pain to where I almost cried. I love my mom so much cause she brought me medicine♥♥ but before then I was feelin horrible and I was trying to get my mind onto other things and my History assignment wasn't doing any good XD so I doodled Vitani. I love her she's soo cute!

Never ask your evil brother to take your son out for a morning stroll. XD Idea came to me during school. I worked hard on this, trying out a new shading once again. I dunno what it's called, but I like it so I tried doing it. I think it turned out ok, but not how I wanted. I'll just have to practice more.

Hey guys! Benn super busy! I finished taking the ACT test this Saturday. *wipes forehead* and had to work on an English project that took about 3wks. That's new shading for me folks. I do it like that, but I always blur it in afterwards, so it's bugging me lol but i wnted to see what ya'll thought about it. So what do ya'll think? I'm in American History, and my teacher had given us papers to fill out while he talked about the war going on while Hitler was in command. On the paper was a picture of a soldier, so ya know what I did? I drew Simba being a brave soldier under it XD

Ahadi swiped his paw across poor Taka's face. When Uru saw what had happened she took a running leap and attacked Ahadi for what he had done. Mufasa ran to comfort Taka. I think if Ahadi had givin Taka his scar, she would not have just sit there, she would protect him. Made for Cat B.'s character contest, for which is Uru. :) I ♥ these contests she holds! It helps bring in more TLK art! I searched Uru on the artwork search bar and no pics showed up what so ever. So these contests are a good idea!

Lineart done in Sketcher, but I colored it in Photoshop cause I had to get off before I could color it in Sketcher. Looks like Simba found a nice plot of floating grass in the middle of nowhere and plopped right down in it lol X3 I'm happy on how Simba turned out! :3

Vitani is out in the Pridelands long after the battle.She's feeling very sad and seems to be thinking about someone...can you guess who? ;) Vitani is such an adorable thing as a cub, but when she grows up, she's not too pretty. So I drew her in my style to see if it would look any better. What ya'll think? Oh and the clouds were inspired by the pic Lothiriel made. Hers look tons better though :) So do ya'll think it looks ok?

Just practicing Zira cause I need it! I'm not too fond of this picture, but hey, practice makes perfect! When I tried to draw Zira I noticed something about her. She has so many corners! Like, her eyebrows come to points, her jaw and cheek fur, her nose..very interesting character. ;P

I've been having some "I wanna draw with my mouse on sketcher" feelings lately, so I did a Nuka picture, and Simba picture, and now here's Zira. Ya can't find much of her in my gallery! Don't know why I don't draw her. Anyways...Zira on a rock. :D Completely mouse drawn. *is happy with it*
EDIT: well... I just realized I didn't put Zira's bitten ear on the right side. As I was making this I was watching a youtube video with the scene asking Kovu 'What is you destiny' and that stuff. The movie actually messed up Zira's ear in that scene! Through the movie her ear was on her right side but the movie put it on her left side through this scene! And it messed me up. XD

Nala couldn't sleep, so she walked out of the den and stared at the stars.
"False tales... There are no 'Great Kings Of The Past' up there. If there were, Simba would have come to help by now. Mufasa has not even showed. I'll not be fooled like the rest!"
Nala sat there,hoping she was wrong.
"The only hope we have now is if I find help."
With that, she turned and ran out into the night, hoping to find someone to take Scar down.

Ever think Nala or the other lionesses came close to giving up hope?

I love Nuka. I hate that his mother would just cast him aside when he has potential. Zira has just never given him a chance. So I think Nuka feels unloved every time he lays down to sleep.

Taka saw Mufasa's paw swipe toward his face. He couldn't dodge it, he knew he couldn't, because he knew Mufasa was fast. With the final blow of "The Challenge For The Throne" Mufasa swiped his paw against Taka's face, leaving Taka,now Scar, a scar on his face to be remembered as the day Scar was proved the weaker brother.

"Temper,temper.I wouldn't DREAM of challenging YOU."

I believe Scar got his scar from Mufasa when he challenged him. How else would Scar know Mufasa was brutally strong?
