Same running cycle, just with a fleshed out leonine instead of a skeletal one. Blah, this has tons of sketchy flaws. :p Again, though, I think it does get the basic point across.

I was asked about comparing/contrasting cat and wolf heads, so I did this (psuedo-realistic style): domestic cat and kitten; lioness and cub; gray wolf and pup.

Muzzles. Left: psuedo-realistic lioness ('cept for the eyes, basically how I do nonTLK leonines). Middle: Nala clone. Right: wolf in my style. Beneath them is a rough body sketch of a cheetah, since the topic was muzzles and legs (hence the filename).

Fairly self-explanatory, I think, seeing how it's labelled. Contrasting lions to leopards and cheetahs, plus showing that a cheetah does not have a canid body plan. Also, a wild dog is not like a wolf; I suggest comparing the two pics.

A common mistake I've noticed is people drawing canids and felids with similar body plans. That's...not right, so I doodled this up to show off the differences. On top is a gray wolf and on bottom is a generic leopard-like pantherine. Take notes. ~.^
