Scene from a role play I took part in about a year ago (Takashari hosted it!), I had the honor of playing Nala. What a fun rp that was... I'd been wanting to illustrate this scene for a while.

Man, doesn't that scene in TLK just send chills up and down your spine? I figure that Simba would definitely pass down such a beautiful promise to his descendants. So, yah...I'm on a role with fanart-drawing now. ^-^

"The Story Teller"

Rafiki, Keeper of the Mysteries, reveals legends of old to the enchanted young ones of the Pride Lands. (Simba's attention seems to have shifted to that bowl of paint. (He has ADD. XD /joke.)

I must admit, there were many times I doubted my abilities to apply this idea from mind to canvas. But I did. And I think it's safe to say I'm mighty proud of this long-built work. :3

Today, June 24th, 2004, ten years ago, the most extraordinary and wonderful movie, "The Lion King," was brought into our lives.

And to honor this great event, I'm excited to contribute this simple picture of Simba (it could be better, I think) I created especially for the occasion.
