I think when Kiara said "I'll help you.." just before Zira fell into the river Zira changed. I think that was her key turning point from bad to good. However, unfortunatly, it was too late :(

I'm sorry for the crappy-ness. It was rushed a bit, but when I get an idea in my head I just want to see the finished product.
