Sleepy birdie, hehe. I got the idea to draw sleeping Zazu because of my cockatoo. I think she's soooo cute when she is sleepy. I have no idea if hornbills lift up one foot like that when the sleep though. But my birdie does it. :p

I wanted to draw a picture for my friend Lion_King_300 who I met at Lea Halalela. (For his birthday) He's a good friend and he wanted a "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" scene. So I drew this and colored it with colored pencils and sent it to him. It was a little too big to scan so I took a picture of it... That's why it's kind of shiny. (Even though of course it doesn't look like that in person) I even attempted a background! XD

Just a simple sketch of Simba I did that I kind of like... I wasn't planning on drawing... I was just writing some stuff down and then started doodling... I was just really really bored at the time. My dad was watching TV and I couldn't get online. I've been having a lot of troubles with my laptop, getting it to charge.

"Huh?" =P A simple doodle of Simba I decided to color... Colored it with markers and pencils instead of MS Paint because I wanted to do something different. (Fast coloring, doesn't look so great) XD

Ok, well one day my friend and I were pausing some scenes from TLK, then we would sketch the character on the screen, then compare our drawings. (Of course I didn't copy the pose exactly, I always like to change it a bit) This is unfinished and such, and I wasn't going to upload it, but then I changed my mind, so I did. It's Zazu!

Cubby Nala, I drew the sketch in class, so no reference... I thought it was cute so I decided to color it.

I didn't shade, well, because I can't with my laptop. (Which is all I have) I don't have a mouse. I have a mouse like pad that I move the pointer with my finger. Till I get a real mouse I can't practice shading.

A sketch I did a long time ago in class... With cub Simba I just wanted to try a different pose... The adult lion is just some random lion. I wanted to draw Mufasa or Scar but I can't draw them without reference yet.

Boring school sketches! No reference... Hey! Is that Spirit in the picture? Who knows?! Haha, I don't really draw horses. But I do like Spirit. Woes from Lea Halalela actually saw me sketch this in our Storybording Animation class. ;)

I was sketching in my sketch book yesterday in my animal animation class, this wasn't apart of the class, but I drew Simba. I know he's not too on model, but I draw like that when I draw smaller, faster and with no reference. This was on the side of my sketch book. Yay, more no reference pics. =P

Another sketch I did in class today. I put this in TLK folder because the cub is supposed to be Simba, but it doesn't look like him too much. The other lions are random. I know they look weird, remember at school I have no reference with me. OMG I can not draw Zazu without reference... Lol...

I drew this pic so long ago, about 2 months ago? I wanted to try to draw one of the hyneas, so I drew my favorite hynea, Shenzi. I am not done with this pic, I am not happy with it. I was going to change it, like the neck is too short, I don't like the legs, etc. But I never got around to fixing it, and getting it ready to color. Maybe I will color it someday after I finish all my art trades.

I drew this pic of Nala a long time ago, I just never got around to coloring it, I guess because I didn't like it much cuz I don't think it really looks like Nala. But I love Nala, she is my favorite TLK character, she is a beautiful and strong character.

Another picture of Adult Simba. I was at a hospital last night, so I started drawing. I love drawing adult Simba, he has such a beautiful mane. I drew him, thinking of his father, while he was still living with Timon and Pumbaa. You never forgot a loved one... Ever, even when you put your past behind you.

Simba's mad! Yes, another pic of just a head shot. It just makes it easier for me to draw expressions on the characters faces if I draw it bigger, plus it makes it easier for me to color on the computer because I can outline it with a thinker pen, and I think it looks nicer that way too. But yes I do need to draw more pics showing the full bodies of the characters.
