Just a simple picture I made to use as an avatar on message boards. I made the yellow part of Sharifu's eyes a lighter shade. I don't know if I will keep it like that or not. Just sometimes I think it's too bright the way I normally do it.

I know I draw head shots a lot, but I seem to like to do that because it's easier to draw expressions when you can draw bigger. I know it can be boring at times though to see just head shots. Anyways, just a lioness... My boyfriend said she looks like Kiara... Hey, I guess she kind of does. :p

For some reason I still look at this and think something doesn't look right. But I wanted to try drawing paws with their claws extended like that. (I am not mad myself though, I felt just like drawing that)

Here is a color chart I made for Sharifu.

I know it's quite detailed, since it has so many shades of one color. Like for example, I don't usually draw nostrils... And you don't have to do it my way, like if you don't like coloring the lines, you don't have to. But I drew and colored everything for this color chart, so everyone knows every color to use for her, if they are going to draw her. I thought it would be helpful. I saved it as an PNG, so it's easy to take the colors.

Just a random cub I drew because I was bored while STM was playing a video game. XP I guess this is sort of good for no reference.

By the way, I wanted to let people know I'm in Finland now! (Staying with STM for the summer) I look forward to meeting many of my European TLK friends that I'm planning to meet, in Finland, England, and in Disneyland Paris. ^^

Here's a pic I got the idea to draw when I was talking with STM a few nights ago. I was watching him on the web cam and he was hugging the Sharifu plushie I gave him for Christmas, and he called her his baby Fu'ey. So it gave me an idea to draw baby Sharifu. ^^

A totally messy and stupid sketch. But yeah I was really annoyed because my laptop is actually charging and staying on so I thought this would be a great chance to try to animate in Flash since Flash is on my laptop but I cannot find my pen to my tablet! *rant rant* I CANNOT draw with a mouse. Yeah... I don't know how some of you do it.

This is one of my Christmas gifts to my b/f, SimbaTheMighty. (We spent Christmas together) I didn't "make" this plushie, but I changed a Nala plushie to look like Sharifu. I colored her eyes with brown nail polish and colored her ears, nose and tail with a brown permanent marker, and the inside of her ears was colored with a pink permanent marker.

Another messy sketch I did in class today. Again, it looks funny because I had no reference. I turned it into a adolescent male. Since I had no reference, I didn't know if that's what the mane looks like when it first starts growing. I might clean this up and color it. I might turn him into a character. ;)

I'm taking an animation class right now in college, and I wanted to draw a lioness running, this is just the first frame, the other frames I haven't drawn all the details yet. I'm not done with it, but from what I saw when I shot it at school, it looked pretty good so far. When I am done with it, I will try to upload it. Not sure what program I can use though...

Eh, this pic doesn't look as nicely colored as my Simba, and it's because this was a smaller pic. So I outlined it with a thinner pen. My last Simba picture was outlined with a thicker pen. Oh well I tried.

A picture of Sharifu, that I colored on the computer! I used MS Paint. (I don't have Photo Shop) This is the first pic I ever colored on the computer! Yes, I changed her colors a little bit, but I like her better this way. ^_^

Edit: I realized I didn't color the top right side of her muzzle. It's too hard to fix now, because I already saved it as a JPG. Oh well...

No, it's not Nala. Just some random female cub. I drew her without looking at anything and I'm quite proud of that. But I realized her tail is too long and big and her tail didn’t end up fitting on the page! And I know the anatomy is not totally right but I’m still practicing.
