Who's the greatest Saiyan of all time? And don't you dare say Goku.

It's lionized Vegeta (my fav)! Yeah, Saiyan hair and lions do not mix.

My lil' (littler than Brett) brother Wes has been getting all into DBZ which is bringing back all those fond childhood memories of watching that show everyday after school. I rewatched a couple episodes for sentimental value recently.

Did this in the wee hours of the morning. It's the basic body (pre costume) of my Batman character.

The foreshortening is the best I've done so far and the anatomy isn't so bad, I had to get a scan of this before I put a cape over him. Some of my best paws too.

If I did a lion Superman, I couldn't not do a lion Batman (because Batman is ten times awesomer).

Similiar cape and cowl design to my Superman. Utility gauntlets instead of a utility belt (like Nightwing) Brucey is just an ordinary gray lion to simplify things.

Dante has some false belief that Superman could beat Batman. Ha. Yeah right.

I think the background takes away a little from the picture so I might upload this later with a different one.

Final sketch for my Batman lion design. The colored version is on its way. Instead of a utility belt, I did "utility gauntlets," similar to what Nightwing uses.

The whole Superman contest (which I won, yea!) got me into a superhero mood.

Here's a concept sketch for Batman (who is ten times cooler than Superman!!!) Not to proud of the anatomy, 'specially the paws. I trying to decide whether Bruce is just a gray lion, or if he wears a suit.

Final entry for Dante's Superman Contest.

What I did for the colors was take a picture of Superman and pick out the main color scheme. I took the human skin color and fiddled with the hue/saturation, added a little red to get a more lionish coat. I felt that there was a lack of that Superman-blue, so his hair highlights are blue along with the shadows on his emblem. The fur markings are very simplistic, because Clark Kent is supposed to be your average Joe. Note the classic Superman curl.
