Another goofy character. Or his head, at least. x3 This cheetah is really fun to draw, but I'm not sure how often I will draw him since he has a LOT of spots on his full body and it's very fiddly trying to get them all in the right places every time.

Gah. Somehow I doubt I'd ever do a fully-detailed animation of this guy!

I haven't worked too much on his personality yet, but so far he's very proud and quite 'posh', so to speak. More on him later!

What can I say? I made that rhino character and suddenly decided to make more goofy-looking African animal characters. This giraffe is currently unnamed, but when it comes to personality he is cheeky, has a good sense of humour, and isn't too worried about preserving his dignity. The animal version of a class clown, in a way. XD

New character! A nerdy-ish rhino. His glasses and watch are made of bamboo sticks and leaves. Named 'Nigel' because the name's meaning is 'black' and he is a black rhino.

Not entirely sure what inspired this character. I've always thought rhino mouths looked slightly silly though (in a loveable way of course!!) and besides, tough rhinos are overdone. :D

Personality-wise, Nigel is friendly and kind, and although he can be klutzy at times he always tries to do the right thing!


Originally done for a contest, but I might use this character in the future. Enjoy!!

The return of Oscar, the weird African mutant (check my OC page for more info)! This is a more cartoony style I've been working on, and I'm really beginning to get confident with it, so I'll be developing this style.

My fursona as a gazelle. I did this after realising that when it comes to African animals I could relate more to a gazelle than a lion somehow. Clearly, I need a lot of practice with gazelles but I'm fairly happy with this.

Oscar - a character I first created when I was about 13. He's a mythical creature, crossed between a lion and a wolf. For some reason he has dragon wings too! Oscar enjoys frolicking through the jungles of South Africa, but is constantly aware of how different he is from the other animals, and longs to fit in with them.

"Shi-Shi" is a character I created many years ago. In my sleep. In a dream.

I can't be sure but it's possible that in this dream she was the daughter of Kiara and Kovu.
