8/27/08: Yo. Um, so I've never really been that active on here, but to anyone who bothers watching me (again, thank you to my friends on here, you're so supportive) I'm going to take a...break. High school just started for me, so I'm going to be up to my neck in homework, cross country, and piano stuff, plus they're giving my dog away, so I'm going to be fairly uninspired for a while anyway. *sigh* I'll be back, though. Just...dunno when.

Adia, a character from my fanfiction, "Remember Your Pride". The daughter of Kovu and Kiara, she is what appears to be an innocent little angel but is actually a stuck-up little brat. She is perfect in every respect but one: in a huge fire that destroyed the entire Pridelands and that only she survived, she burned a paw in the process of running away, leaving an ugly scar as a result. Dhaka sighed and rested his head on his paws, closing his eyes slowly.
Suddenly, something jabbed into his side.
"Ow!" he yelped, his eyes flying open and coming to rest on the face of an irritated Majadi. Joy. "What do you want, Majadi?"
"I want you to get off your lazy butt, Dhaka. Can't you do something for this pack other than sleep all day?"
"Do you really want me to answer that?"
Majadi just glared at him and stalked away.

Another Ethiopian wolf sprung to life from algebra doodles, this one a lil' girl named Majadi. She's the fieriest and most sarcastic dog in the world and is the complete opposite of Dhaka. Needless to say, they clash often.

I want to ask you all something: what do I need to improve on? I've noticed I've gotten a lot less comments here, and I want to know why. If I haven't been improving enough, please, tell me how I can! Critique is always welcome! I'm not saying, "Oh, I haven't gotten any comments, no one likes me, I'm gonna leave now," I'm just saying it would be helpful to me as an artist if you guys left a little feedback. And for those of you who are bound to tell me this, I'll answer before you can: no, this whole thing is NOT a plea for attention or comments. I draw for myself. OK, I've finally gotten off my butt and uploaded something! Aren't you proud of me??? Well, this marks my first drawing of a "Remember Your Pride" character, a Riverlands cub named Kayin. It would seem I won't be getting any of my "Shadowlands" books back from my teacher, so I've started YET ANOTHER story, this one about the princess of the Pridelands, Adia. I will post her picture soon enough.

This is a sort of "what if" pic. I think maybe that if Taka and Mufasa weren't really blood brothers, Taka would have an easier time killing Mufasa. So here's a really ugly pic of Taka's real mother, Sauda. Her mate, a rogue lion, died at Ahadi's paws and she makes it her life's goal to avenge his death. She tries to use her son, Taka, to do it for her, but it ends up as only an attempt. Taka is exiled, but his "brother", Mufasa, is lenient when he is crowned king and lets Taka back into Pride Rock. By then, though, Taka has been corrupted by his mother and soon kills Mufasa. Daaaaaang, I've really developed that. Tell me your opinions! :)
