tlk.faa gripes

Okay, there have been quite a few things around this archive around the past few years that irk me beyond all plausible reason. This is where I post audio gripes about them. So just click on a link to hear my often offensive opinions about the goings on of this community. Kinda like the rants of 2, The Ranting Gryphon (found here), only with three distinct differences:

a. It's obviously me, not 2.
b. It's relevant only to this archive.
c. It's a lot cleaner with little to no profanity.

"Now, young prince, you see that your surprise is to DIE for."

This, honestly, could have been an interesting opening scene for the second movie. Zira, seizing the opportunity to lure Kopa away from the not-yet-so watchful eyes of his young parents, promised him a surprise and leads him to what was once Scars favorite lonely outcropping of rock. And.... well, I'm sure you can figure out the rest. D:

I know this concept has been done to death really, but it explains a lot about certain characters attitudes towards each other, and it's plausible enough for me to consider practically canon, so it was only a matter of time before I got off my butt and did my own version. XD

"So..." Sarabi raised a knowing brow, "where is this 'really cool' place?" This conversation with her grandson was seeming all too familiar.

"It's around the waterhole." Kopa said, flicking his ears and smiling smoothley- a tell-tale sign that he was lying. Sarafina let out an audible sigh, as if to say, "oh brother, he's inherited it!"

Just a T-shirt design to pass the time. Big ugly watermark on it so people won't make it into T-shirts themselves and sell em' on E-Bay. =/

Anyway, it's a West African spoof on the Hard Rock Cafe logo and slogan, "Love all, Serve all". X3 My dad came up with the idea last year when we went to the Hard Rock in Cozumel, and I just got around to doing it.

For the current contest. X3 I have pet rabbits, and they are the funniest little critters in the world. Thus- kitties get bunny-fied.

Just a pencil sketch quickly colored in Photoshop. Nala's nose seems a bit long, but *shrugs* Oh well.

Anyone else notice that Scar had this WICKED awesome pimp-cane in TLK-oB? I swear, that was amusing to no end! He would look all sinister and scary one moment, and then your eyes would wander over to that crazy stick in his hand (paw?) and it would all go downhill from there. X3

Anyway, quick- sloppy little doodle I wanted to get out of my system. The anatomy's off, the shading is le pew, and he looks half drunk, but all in all, fun to have drawn. =3 Yay!

"NUUUUUUKKAAAAA!!!!!" Zira's irritated cry rang through the outlands like a siren. Kovu and Vitani just turned their heads towards the general area in which the sound originated from.

"Hm, wonder what he did this time?" Kovu thought aloud.

"More likely, what he DIDN'T do. He's been so busy sulking, he probably forgot Mom's dinner- again." Vitani replied dully. And with that, the two siblings went on with their lives.
