Lenzi could hear the clan's murmurings behind her. Soft growls intermixed with the quiet voice of a pup: "Daddy? What's going on? What'd she do?"
"She did something very wrong, honey."
Lenzi flicked her ears, but her eyes were focused on the pacing form of her older sister.
"Hey, Shenzi!" Banzai finally spoke up. "We're waiting. Does she stay or not?"
The clan leader turned, her face troubled. Conversing with the lions, especially Nala, was prohibited. The consequence was normally banishment. However, this was not any hyena-- this was her sister.

The young lioness laid on the cold rock which had become her bed ever since her mother had died.
"Where are you?..."
She used to run; used to hide from the sound of his voice. It was almost like a game to her: if she hid far enough into the darkness, the green eyes wouldn't find her.
There was no reason to hide anymore. He would always find her. Why run...why hide...
"Ah, there you are."

Life has been so hectic, since we've been moving and my scanner wasn't working...

Anyway, I'm back now.

Kovu quietly stalked through the dusk of the Pridelands with Vitani. Zira had sent them on this training mission to bring food back to the rest of the Outlanders. A noise caused Kovu to peer over the savannah grass. Simba and Kiara were playing in the last light of the day. He sighed. Why were the Outlanders scraping for food while the Pridelanders were happy and content?
