Wow...this one has come out EXTREMELY well. So far, I think it is one of my best, personally..I love how the hair came out.

I'm not even finished, yet! I still have shading and a background to add, but it's almost 2am and I'm exhausted...so, I'ma finish this tomorrow and also continue the rest of the application pictures I have.

So, hope you like this Zand..I won't post any of the story for tihs picture until it's totally finished.

Run for Freedom. Like Lorcan warned, Cyral was released...and Cyral didn't want to believe what the beaten lion had said, so he ran..not thinking about the words Lorcan had planted into his brain.

Until, that is, he heard the barkind and growls coming from the dog pack the humans unleashed. It was only then that Cyral remembered Lorcan's advise..

"The dogs will loose your scent if you cross water...find a river or a lake and run through the water...then roll around in the mud. You should be safe for a little while until the humans track you."

So he ran, occasionally looking over his shoulder to see if the dogs were close..but they were still at a distance..

If only Cyral could find the river he knew as a cub.

When Lorcan first meets Cyral, it is before the Hunt.I -really- want this guy for my comic.I'm going through more than I normally do for a character I want but Cyral is literally stitched into my brain. XD

"Listen to me kid, they're going to release you..." Lorcan whispered, standing still and tight in case the humans heard them.
"They are?Well then that's great!" Cyral responded.
"No,it's not! Listen! They're releasing you so they can hunt you...they'll release those dogs...you'll be used as practice and bait for those dogs if they catch you.."

"H..how do you know?" Cyral asked.
"Because I have endured the same fate..as well as Pawnet.."
"Pawnet..?"
"He died a week before you arrived." Cyral stared in disbelief.

He was tired of running...it was time to fight for his freedom...a fight that was not going to end well...

Flexing his claws and snarling he prepared to fight the circling bulldogs.

Sketch number #4.

Just a full body sketch, story coming below, with a open mouth(no references used)..The open mouth is Cyral's if anybody is wondering.

He felt like he was safe..if not for a few moments..but he was frustrated..confused...wanted to escape the hell he had been forced into . Standing there, looking out over the dead wastelands the humans lived in...he stared forward and then released a mighty roar that echoed across the plains.

Big mistake..because moments later he was on the run again as the domesticated bull dogs took chase.

Sketch number #2 of Cyral.

There's no background because it's just inked, but when I take it to photoshop it'll be clearer what the story description says.

Also, the sketches aren't in any order..so the storyline might be kinda confusing.

He was tired....and despite Lorcan's company he still felt lonely...He was unaware of the survival of his family or the group he was with before he was ambushed...but he was just..

He didn't know why this was happening..why he deserved such cruelty..

Here is the first of many sketches I have done of Cyral, a character Zand has on the TT that I have a huge storyline for if I were to get him.
I was talking to Zand in msn and was mentioning alot of it and that I would have a ton of sketches probably at the end of the night.

Which, I do. And..guesss what? It was ALL by memory. I was at karaoke and I had NO reference sheet other than my memory.Not even for the poses or anything.

Anyways, there's a story behind most of these sketches and they WILL be colored, hopefully, soon.

Cyral had been released from his cage..and despite Lorcan's warning he ran..when he thought he was safe, he looked over his shoulder...

Unfortunately, he wasn't safe. The humans were toying with him...

Lorcan on the right, Cyral on the left...it's the day they meet in that horrid human camp.

Okay. So, here's my first application picture for the char Zand has up on the TT called Cyral. I decided, as mentioned in a comment, that Cyral will end up being one of Lorcan's best friends. He is rescued around the time Lorcan and a few others are when Tyro raids the camp.
--Story Prompt--

The day had been long, hot and exhausting for the young lion named Cyral. He had been out hunting gazelle when a pack of domesticated bull dogs suddenly ambushed him. He ran for his life and then...a sharp pain in his side told him he was shot with something. A few moments later he collapsed...sleep immediately taking over. Later on, he woke up in a steel cage with dead grass all around him.

This is a W.I.P (I sortta used black on accident when messing in ms paint) for a character Zand has on the TT called Cyral. He is just AWESOME, and like I said on my comment to the pic..I have an idea shooting around in my head. This isn't finished, though. I have -alot- more to do on this picture (and this isn't even the full picture, either).

I'll get to work on it tomorrow - i just wanted to prove that I -am- working on application pictures.

I honestly really do like how the hair came out considering this is only a sketch/wip.

Sorry Jogu this took so long. I got caught up with school and then I was commissioned and wanted to get -those- done first.

Ok,so I was working on the first request for LionKing17 for a couple hours..I sketched in MS paint and then took it to photoshop for lining, coloring,shading,background etc..well,I never saved =\.Stupid photoshop decided in the middle of me adding the clouds(hence the funky cloud outline in the corner on the sun with my name in it)to crap out.

It resulted in "NOT RESPONDING" screaming at me at the top of the program. So, I used my program called "Snipshot" and took a 'snapshot' of what I had. The clouds came out..funky..and the grass isn't shaded =\.

Then, saving it in the snapshot program....all I had was JPEG or GIF. Jpeg blurrs my images...and well, what we have here is what GIF did =\.

Gif made it okay.Hope you like it, Lionki
