Tojo smiled wider than he ever had in his life. "So your really Simba's son? And he and Nala are ruling pride rock?"

Kopa bubbled with excitement, "Yes!! It's really true! I even have a little sister Kiara! Will you come back and see them?"

Tojo answered without hesitation. "We're coming with you right now!"


Lol just a little glimpse of what i beleived to have happened with Kopa and the others while Simba's Pride was going on!

"Awww, mom!" Kopa grimaced as his mother's sandpapery tongue tugged at his mane tuft. "This hurts! Why do I even need a bath? HUH?! Why, I haven't even been-"
Nala shut her mind off to her sons complaining and groanded. "You are DEFENITELY Simba's son," she breathed.


Silly Kopa, he doesn't want a bath! Just like dad.

Kopa collapsed on the boulder, gasping for air. That had been the hardest run of his life, terror kept him going but pain screamed at him to stop. He finally obeyed, and his muscles roared with pain. Kopa could barely keep his eyes open, so he drifted into a fitful sleep.

Mheetu snarled. This intruder would soon be gone. He had just settled his pride here, he wouldn't let anyone barge in on it. He padded softly up to the young lion and growled, "Who are you, why are you here?"
Kopa opened one eye and knew he was in for. He couldn't possibly fight this lion. "Kopa," he managed to rasp. "Son of Simba and Nala."

Mheetu's eyes sprang open. "Nala?" Nala and SIMBA are... alive?

Hey look! My favorite characters! From left to right, its Simba, Balto, Spirit. Kenai is sitting on Spirit, so is Hammie. Pongo is sitting under Spirit. And who knows what they're talking about!

Kula yawned heavily and grunted. "I don't care! I want to go to sleep!"

Nala hugged her brother close. She had been certain she would never see him again. But now here he was, sitting next to her, a savior to his small pride and Nala's cubhood friends. If it wasn't for Mheetu, the band of outcasts would never escaped Scar's horrible reign safely. Mheetu had been the one who had seen the pride rock from way out in the badlands and guided them to it, had guided them home.
So Nala beamed with adoration and love for her little baby brother who had grown into a lion.


This is my entry for the Lost Boys contest! Thanks, Half-Tail for thinking it up! I decided to draw Mheetu because I like to think he was Tojo, Chumvi, and Kula's saving grace.

I love Simba, and I think he deserves some more respect for his kingship. I think he rules pride rock very well, and I know his dad would be proud, so I think we should be too.

O yea, by the way, the swirls in the sky are supposed to be a sunset.

The dark sky was illuminated with the subtle glow of the stars as Nuka gazed towards the heavens. "Should I tell Kopa that my mother is going to kill him? Should I? Is that right?" He murmured to himself.
"NO! DON'T do that! That'll get you busted bigtime with your mom!" Nuka's Evil conciense shouted, peircing the stillness of the night.
A tiny paw was rested on Nuka's opposite shoulder and a tiny voice whispered, "Nuka, he's been like a brother to you. Do what is right, do you want to lose your best friend?" His Good conciense quizzed.
The tan lion cub sighed and turned his gaze again to the ominous sky, his only source of comfort. But even that, seemed fake tonight.

This is my good/vs evil contest entry! i hope you like it!

As Tojo's birds flew ahead to clear the danger, Mheetu glanced back at the barren wastelands he once called home. He knew he would never see them again. He quietly murmured, "Will I ever see Nala or home again?"
Kula's face dipped into a deep frown. She had the same question lulling in the back of her mind too. And now every one, even Chumvi, who could provoke a laugh anytime, was silent.

Kiara looked up at the sound of that familiar voice. She saw her brothers smiling face once again.

My take on Kopa. i think Nuka warned him that Zira was trying to kill him so he said goodbye to only his sister. Then he ran. He returned on the day after Zira was killed.

Im proud of this one. i like little mheetu and hope that this is an ok contest entry. please comment! i love to know what you think of my art!

i call this mufasa's savior because mheetu would have saved simbas father by coming down to the gorge and interveining with scars plans. what do u think?
